    Hi Stu, When you say you're using the latest MAP file, does that mean you're not using integrated MAME support? As in, do you have MAME set up as a seperate emulator per chance? This plugin only works for integrated support.

    There's another option/alternative as well but it may be a little more involved... If you load up the configuration for the mame commander plugin you can search all games for 4 player ones and click the button to add them to the 'do not filter' list in GameEx. At least I'm pretty sure you can search by number of players... That way you don't even need to know the ROM name. You can also see mame status and clone info in the results window. You can never have too many options.

    Two things to try: Don't run GameEx Lite. Does it work now? Also maybe try a different theme so you can rule that out as well.

    I said screw it and got one. It's worth the $25 investment. Found it on Amazon of all places, and my Prime means it'll be here in no time: http://www.amazon.com/TOTALCONSOLE-W010-Wireless-Sensor-DolphinBar/dp/B00HZWEB74 They say that it has a "game mode" so it will work with PC games... Maybe I will have to write a plugin for it. Either way adding Wii motes to my cab in an effective way is a great move so I can't pass it up.

I don't see why it wouldn't since it's more or less a mouse anyway, but I would love to know if it's any good for mame before I invest in it.

    Well it looks like you have mame set up as an emulator instead of using the integrated support but you're trying to launch from the mame games menu. Do you have mame set up in the emulator 1 spot like your log shows?

    Now if there were only a way to trick Windows into thinking my wireless 360 pad wasn't off so I don't lose my mappings when I run a mame game in attract without the controller on...

    Thats my fault for not having read the whole post. But the it's not like that part threw me, since they're all based on the same input system...

    If you need directinput in any mame based source (ie mameuifx) you would need to change it in the input source file itself and compile it yourself. I think it's input.c and you need to change the directinput enabled to 1, but you'll lose multi keyboard support.

    There will be a need for both, and it's only about 50% ready anyways. Real life drama and whatnot.

    So open the thread up and let's get this puppy going. You can hide the thread until October if you want. Where's the list of games? I'll add them to the db. If you want to do the snapper plugin for it I need to make an adjustment to the php code and can't test until the games are in the database. I also need to create an online favorites file for this. I can probably generate one using the comp name. I have lots to do before this comp gets started...
