Hate to tell you, but you're right, you missed it... Haha! Click on the preview image in the plugin configuration and it opens a full size preview.

Actually, the real credit for EDM and even Hip Hop goes back further to the 'Amen Break' if you want to get technical, which happened by accident in the late 60's.

Isn't Frankie Goes To Hollywood a band? Lol!

Not in any order: 1. Super Mario Bros 2. Zelda 3. TMNT Arcade 4. NBA Jam 5. Funhouse (pinball counts right?) 6. Killer Instinct/Mortal Kombat/Street Fighter (tied) 7. Dig Dug 8. Smash TV 9. Road Rash 10. Dusty Diamond's All-Star Softball

Updated plugin to 1.0.8! Fixed bug where game tag was not updating when GameEx logs offFixed bug where Steam games were not being added to the user's history due to a GameEx DB reader bugFixed incorrect GameEx Database play counts/favorites/last played data for games in Zip/7-Zip/RarFixed a bug where tag was incorrect if a user exited GameEx without playing any gamesOther code tweaks and fixes I forgot aboutThe game tag not updating on logoff was a pain in my butt for some time, but I finally figured that out. I also fixed where it wasn't uploading if you exited GameEx via GameEx Online. I also updated the first post with a more recent snap of the configuration window. I now use the online title screen in the tag if you launch GameEx, don't play anything, and then exit... So theoretically everything should be working fine now. On the site side (besides the toggle I added and mentioned before), I fixed the improper play count function, and fixed a bug where single quotes were being stripped out of the game data. Next, I'll probably work on the configuration side of things, and on the site I will finally hook in the ability to upload game tag themes if any of you artistic types wants to get involved in that. I think I'm almost ready to take it public, thanks to everyone who helped with the testing. Feel free to download it from the first post, or get it from the Game Tagger website. Thanks everyone!

I did some work on the site, and now you can expand/collapse your hi-score and history data. This should make it easier to see things on a mobile device, since you only see the things you want to see. If you try it, make sure you do a hard refresh on your browser to get the new css code, and you'll need javascript enabled. I have tested this is Firefox, IE, and Chrome, and all seems to be working great on my end. You can view this feature on both the user's tag page and the user control panel. There will also be an update coming for the plugin that fixes Steam games not appearing in your history, and some issues with the GameEx database for Zip/7zip/RAR games not getting the proper play count/last played/favorites data.

No problem, I was worried for a sec because I saw the code in there for the online check, then when I saw your log I was all like woah...
-
Before I attempt to fix this, can you try and update your plugin to the current version (1.0.5) and try it again? I see you're on 1.0.4 still.
-
Okay, well then I better get on that bug fix. The online check was later in development, so I just forgot to run that check. Should only take a few minutes to fix. Thanks for your help.
-
Yeah, for sure. You can try and disable the Hi-Score Snapper plugin too, I'm not sure if I added the code to dispose of that plugin when no connection is found when I added the new online scrape. LMK if it fixes the problem or not.

Hey Dazzle! My plugins will not initialize if they require a connection to the net and one can't be found, as noted here: 09:43:42.0 15/07/2014: Loaded Plugin:"Game Tagger" Version 1.0.7 By Adultery09:43:42.1 15/07/2014: PlugIn Did not initialize. Disabling PlugIn Basically I try to ping DracLabs and if I can't, I just tell GameEx not to initialize the plugin. I hope that helps somewhat.

It's fixed.

+1, as sad as that is. Lol! But don't worry, I wouldn't sing any of them. I wouldn't want your guests ears to bleed. I probably have about 90% of them on vinyl.

So you have it set up as an 'emulator' then? This should work assuming youre using goodname as opposed to goodmerge, and you have the selected database in the proper selection in the emulator setup. Also make sure your mdb contains the new structure, best to use a current one and set yours up in it so it matches the layout exactly. I think we may have added a couple new columns since the move to db3. And yes, it should still read mdb just fine.
-
Not that I'm aware of... Only thing I can think of is your mame build doesn't match your ROM set. But TBH, I use split sets. That being said, if out was a problem, it may have been brought up by now... Unless no one else is using merged sets around here...

Did you use the specific history.dat DazzleHP uploaded or the official one?
-
Is it because of the CarnEvil bug? Grab a history.dat from the downloads section of the forum and try rebuilding your list.
-
Nm, it's a bug in the code. I set my name to yours and it shows my scores. I'll fix it tomorrow.
-
Might be something in code I'll have to look into. It is working for me though... Try a hard refresh of your browser if you haven't already.
-
Next to Hi-Score Player in your cp, does it say yes? Whats the user name there?
-
Yeah that setting is in your control panel.
-
Me too. My step dad is an auctioneer, I have him watching for a gutted one. I'd love a new project... The wife may not agree, however.
