  1. Xpadder does all my mapping. Is it the front end or the tables giving you trouble?
  2. It's a file that contains hashes of rom files to verify rom sets. Rom Center and clrMAMEpro utilize them, if you were looking for use cases.
  3. I don't think a reinstall is the way to go here. I would try removing the .cache files like I mentioned before. If that didn't work, move the emulator to a new slot and try again.
  4. /insert Aerosmith 'Back In The Saddle' video here Seriously though, these look great! You haven't missed a beat.
  5. Just ftr, you shouldn't be editing db3 files or they'll likely get overwritten. The .mdb files are for editing. The way it works is simple really. It checks the db against goodname, tosec, and nointro fields. The name field is a real name for 'use database name'. The check is done against the file name... The rom inside the zip I think. Maybe it is the zip name, not sure. The map file would basically still pass the file name so don't use the map name. Try turning on the best match option and deleting your GameEx config files that have .cache in the file name.
  6. ...and sometimes they throw the term 'help' around pretty loosely..
  7. Just out of curiosity, does the video loop or is it instead waiting for the video to finish playing?
  8. Gaussian blur? Did I even spell that right? Lol!
  9. Translation: They changed the scoring matrix on the overall leaderboard to keep it fair for everyone since it wasn't fair before.
  10. ERROR! Illegal use of word 'if' in previous statement. Unable to process comment. (ninja)
  11. They're dll libraries, I do my work in vb.net mostly.
  12. Only limited by your imagination! LOL!
  13. Well if it were me I would just use WireShark for checking which ports are used. Any of my plugins that need the network will simply not initialize if it can't find an open connection, but GameEx uses the internet for update checks, subscription checks, any updates to the Settings Wizard, database connections, online lists, and probably other things too. If you were going to watch ports you might look into some software that lists open ports for you so you can monitor.
  14. Game Tagger 1.1.0 is now available! Versions prior to 1.0.9 are now officially not supported. Please update your plugin to continue using it.Fixed a bug (for real this time) where the "Last Plaed" snap was not shown properly when GameEx exits (Huge thanks to nullPointer for helping with the testing!)Huge improvement to the backend communication with the DracLabs Game Tagger site:Now uses the new DracLabs API for communicationInitialization is now handled with one query instead of severalAdded new donor check for future development which will reward users that donate to the projectA lot of code optimizations in many ways, includingFaster wildcard parsing and variable replacementMore efficient uploading of tagsBetter checking for image changesSmoother integration with the jukeboxMore accurate image searching for SteamOther changes that I can't remember offhandSo a couple quick notes... There is now a version check in place so versions can be cut off from the system if I make a really big code change. Currently the cutoff is version 1.0.9, meaning nothing below that version will work. I added a special field to the database for donors and intend to do something special with that data in a future update, both on the site and on the tag itself. Stay tuned for that. I noticed the load time has been decreased a great deal with the optimizations I made, and I wrote a new DracLabs API that I will start using for any future comms with DracLabs and my projects. After this has been tested I will put it out to the public finally, I'm pretty confident that it's working the way I want and stable. Thank you to everyone who helped test it out! I think that's it... You can get it from the usual place.
  15. Really all you would need is the gameex.ini I would think...
  16. I wish I could help more, but unfortunately your only options are to either eliminate those lines altogether or live with it for now. When Evo comes out you will likely be able to address that though.
  17. Lets have a peek at your gameex.ini.
  18. Yeah I would pretty much just have to borrow some code from quicklaunch and have it work internally since those calls don't go out in the screensaver, it really shouldn't take long. The most involved part would probably be a GUI but I'm thinking 45m on that max. I'll side if I can't get to out over the weekend but I'm the on call at my job, so I hope for no client emergencies.
  19. Can you throw up an example image of both scenarios? If I understand correctly what youre trying to do isn't currently possible but I want to confirm.
  20. Are you using goodmerged sets?
  21. Both of these requests are doable for sure, but probably outside of the scope of this project. I can probably whip something up in an hour that sends a command-line to your rotation exe based on the orientation of the game during the screensaver, but you would have to do the testing since I can't. That wouldn't be all that difficult. I'm not sure it's possible right now to play an intro movie before a game starts, that would have to wait for Evo.
  22. I'm working on it.
  23. Well I would guess it's either a problem with that DirectX our video card drivers.
  24. Aww thanks buuuuddy! Of course if I was doing it right, I wouldn't have released it with a bug in the first place.
  25. Hey Null, can you try this one for me please?
