  1. Awesome! I was worried there for a sec. I tested myself this time so i was concerned i missed an edge case.
  2. Seriously? :'( Post your log for me in debug mode and let's have a look. I didn't change anything except bringing in the emulator info...
  3. Updated to 1.0.9, which brings a few improvements. Most notably though is the advanced command line variables, which are taken from the emulator settings instead of being passed by GameEx. There will probably be many more in the future, but this is what the list looks like for now: [TitleText] The emulator's Title Text property [startPageName] The emulator's Start Page Name property [EmuLogo] The emulator's logo [ConfigPath] The emulator's advanced config [Database] The emulator's database name [CustomBG] The emulator's custom background image [boxPath] The emulator's box art path [ManualPath] The emulator's game manual path [TVAdvertPath] The emulator's advertisement path [AdvertPath] The emulator's advertisement path [NoImg] The emulator's "image not found" path or file [bGSnapPath] The emulator's background snap path [DBSnapPath] The emulator's database snap path [selectionMusicPath] The emulator's selection music path [CPPPath] The emulator's control panel path [MusicPath] The emulator's music path [instructionsPath] The emulator's instructions path [ExtenderArtPath] The emulator's GameExtender art path/file [CustomPath1] ... [CustomPath5] The emulator's custom art paths (from 1 to 5) Feel free to ask if there are questions or bugs, I tested it pretty well but if problems arise I will address them as always. Get it from the usual places.
  4. Updated to 1.2.3 Updated GameEx core to new versionLots of tweaks to main Xpadder codeRe-wrote launcher and Xpadder backend codeLots of UI fixes and tweaksAdded new status info strip to UIRe-wrote Windows/GameEx code for smoother transitions where window focus is lostLots of changes in the code, I basically re-wrote everything and made it moch quicker and more efficient. I moved the 'enable' checkboxes next to the drop down lists, and added a quick at a glance info strip (note that it does not record GameEx interface profile launches, only systems and games). Any questions? Ask away. Any bugs? I'll fix 'em (although I spent quite a length of time testing this). Get it from the usual places.
  5. Updated to 1.1.2 Bug fixes for variable replacementOptimizations to configurationLots of code enhancements/tweakingGameEx core updateHUGE THANKS to Lighty for the massive testing! Without his help this release wouldn't have been possible. This new version added a fix to variable replacement, a new feature for configuration that adds your command line and exe settings for viewing in the configuration screen (to save the confusion for new users who don't understand fully how headless mode works), and a lot of enhancements to current functions based on a new component of my GameEx core. For all my plugins I now pull in the emulator's ini as well, which will make many new things possible across all plugins. As an example (for this plugin), there is no need to pull the ini each time I do a check for roms in folders or 7-zip. If the proper command line (or any folder paths) doesn't get passed for any reason I can look at the emulator config for this information. This also makes it possible to get all paths and settings even though GameEx doesn't pass them all (ie manual paths, box paths, extender art paths, custom art paths, etc). You can download the update at the usual places.
  6. Nope... Are we looking at the same feature release notes? [emoji14]
  7. Well the issue is that RetroPie syncs the roms to the SD card off the usb (which have to be unzipped btw, minus mame of course) and then you have the artwork. You're pretty much locked to 32 gb, so I'm pruning my rom lists to only include faves. Overclocking the Pi to High (provided you have a heatsink) seems to be fast enough for the oldies. I'll be interested in seeing how it handles SNES.
  8. Right now I'm enjoying RetroPie and playing with a breadboard to get some LED lighting in and add a power switch. Took me a while to get it running just right with the 360 pad... I don't think the 32gb card will be enough room though... I think you could do something cool like a bar top but i can't imagine it would play anything too heavy. Setting up Retro Arch now, hope it runs at a good speed.
  9. I can verify what he said about the attract mode, it appears as offline after a few games.
  10. So i got a really nice Pi kit for x-mas. Does anyone else have one of these? I'd love to hear some suggestions on what to do with it. Probably gonna build a card with RetroPie on it and another with Android. Any cool uses for this beast I might have missed? I might build a retro machine from an old Genesis 3 I have laying around, just not sure yet.
  11. Still work to do before i re-release it, but i do really appreciate your help on this.
  12. I'm unfamiliar with this emulator, I'll admit. But can you point it at your virtual drive and then load games direct from the disc?
  13. What does? nullDC or Daemon Tools? I'm asking if you can mount an image to a virtual drive and then play it on nullDC after it's mounted.
  14. As am I. Probably sound like a broken record but i really do feel like you're all family. Glad you're not all coming to dinner though, that would be a big ass ham! Merry Christmas to all!
  15. Does nullDC not support a virtual drive directly?
  16. This is pretty baller! Thanks Shermo for the post!
