  1. OK, I need my DVD rips to be within a certain resolution to work on WiiMC (720x480). Is there a way to either change the default Normal profile to use the exact resolution I want, or better yet, can I use my own command line switches? I'm using Handbrake GUI for the time being, but since I store my movies on the cab and serve them around the house, it would be cool if I could rip my movies to the specs I want without ever having to leave the GameEx interface. Thanks!
  2. Thanks Tom.
  3. I rock PC games on my cab all the time. GameExtender runs as well as the game and I haven't had any problems at all.
  4. Haha! You see my first theme? LOL
  5. Doesn't the Atom also handle video too? Sounded to me like a Dual Core with one core being the processor and the other being the 'video card' if I understood the description.
  6. Thanks for the info Tom! /side note: I'm failing to see the benefit in doing this, but to each their own. Honestly the thumb is really for increasing image loading speed and only for large snap sizes (I'm assuming greater than 1024x768 or maybe even 800x600 on the low end of the spectrum), and in cases where the thumb isn't created there's no benefit or reason for this to be done. We're really only talking a few milliseconds at best here, am I right? Sounds to me like it's not only more hassle than it's worth, but it doesn't offer any *real* positive outcome in return. As Tom mentioned there are more efficient ways to do what you're trying to do here.
  7. Well, first of all congrats on your software purchase! If you're having a problem, it's best to consult the pinned 'How To Ask For Help' thread in the general forum before posting so we can better assist you. That being said, please post your GameEx log so we can take a look. To save a possible step later, we'll also need your GameEx.ini which you will need to zip to add to your post. This problem is not common so we need to see this information to take an accurate stab at what's happening. In the future please make sure you provide this information as we can't begin to assess this or any other GameEx issue without it. Thank you for your cooperation, we'll do our best to help you get things back to normal.
  8. Honestly, making stuff that looks like 'crapola' is the best way to learn IMHO. I built cabs before this last one (or remodeled actually) and man were they crap. But I took away the knowledge to make the second one better and the one I just finished even impresses me when I look at it. There's just no replacing that feeling of 'woah, I made that!' I cherish my first attempts and I couldn't be happier with the learning experience I came away with.
  9. I mean, you could detail the plastic parts with alcohol, sand it (or strip it rather), and murder it out with a black matte spray paint and a matte clear coat, or you could use a glossy spray paint and clear coat and make it look brand new (if you were so inclined). If you tape off the LCD and buttons with painter's tape (using cardboard tofill the gaps and an exacto knife to cut the tape right), it shouldn't be too hard to get that shine back.
  10. Are they maybe the date and time the thumb was created?
  11. Completely salvageable. The stress adds character IMHO.
  12. Man that looks really sharp! Nice work!
  13. Heh! I had no idea it emulated so many under-emulated systems. Sounds like I have work to do Wednesday! Thanks gang!
  14. I was using NeoPop before I finally eliminated this system from my cab. Sounds like I need to give Mednafen a try. Now if I could just find a suitable replacement for Handy... That emu suxorz too.
  15. Turns out I'm way behind. I didn't realize you already had intro vids for Type X stuff out. Did you add Beatmania yet?
  16. Ohhh so this is for people who keep their SF games grouped into a 'system'. got ya!
  17. That's cool Circo! Do you have one for SFIV Arcade Edition too?
  18. I will now! I'm on the Droid and it doesn't get PM notifications.
  19. LOL! No kick da baby!
  20. If you edit your first post you can also edit the title.
  21. The silver lining in THAT situation is you don't have to worry about being evicted! LOL
  22. I completely understand. We were robbed when I was younger, and I remember that feeling of being violated. It was really s4!tty and I wanted to kill the people that did it. Never dd find em.
  23. Actually it doesn't surprise me at all that people were rummaging through your stuff. The kind of people that sneak in and do that stuff have a habit to support if you know what I mean.
  24. No worries Han! We're not going anywhere. Don't know what I'd do in your situation, it saddens me.
