#4: Make a MAP file. The game list will be built from that instead of using your ROM filter. Not sure how you would access other discs when the time comes unless you manually rename them or edit your MAP file. #5: there's an importable config for Windows games that uses the lnk method. I would start there unless you mean something else, in which case please elaborate. #6: Not sure I follow you man. I think you'll need to describe what you're trying to do a little better. #8: All you have to do is click 'Change View' in the toolbar a couple times until you get the desired result. If your theme lacks the toolbar there may be a way to set this up in the theme.ini but I don't believe I've ever seen it. In which case you'll have to enable the feature in the Theme Editor app.

@massop: I'm gonna test when I get home, but I changed the file properties to read only. I see there's an update waiting for me so I'll let ya know what happens. My guess is the install will throw out a window telling me it couldn't overwrite the file with three options: try again, quit, or ignore. My solution will be (if that's the issue) to add a command to my startup.bat that launches xpadder which will re-write the file over after GameEx launches. This will do that every time GameEx launches though, so not sure if it's a suitable solution or not.

If you answered yes, why? It seems to emulate stuff MAME can handle just as well. What does this emu add that MAME doesn't? Just curious.

The Xbox controller PSD is my favorite contribution by a long shot (that took a bit to finish but really adds a nice touch of finesse to my cab). I'm here to help if you need it! For #2: I use Photoshop but GIMP is fairly similar to my knowledge. I think it's easier to make a black background layer and flatten the image, then use a magic eraser tool to erase the black. This works awesome, especially if there's no granient. If there is, you can just use the magic eraser without adding the extra layer. Just a click here and there and viola! No background. The other method I employ is to use the background eraser tool and it will wipe out the background without wiping out the foreground image. I haven't tried manipulating Drac's logos, but I only use the wand tool if I'm trying to crop something out of a vivid background. That seems to me like a lot of extra work for what you're trying to do. /end my 2c

Aww, man I'm sorry to hear that. Lost our boxer to a heart problem unexpectedly last year and it was horrible to go through. I don't cry much but that got me for sure. Layla was every bit a family member as my wife and kids are. We did end up adopting a new German Shepard puppy from Friends of Noah though, that was rescued on D-Day from a kill shelter. So good things can come of the loss of a loved one. I feel for ya bro, and my heart goes out to you and your family.
