Hmm FRAPS it is. Instead of doing one straight I'll hotkey in there and keep the intro and gameplay seperate. I thought uncompressed was crazy but all my FRAPS stuff starts off this way. I'll do ya up a couple to start with and you can suggest any changes ya need.

Nah running the psp component cable straight into the computer actually via usb. I'm experimenting with capture software trying to find the best results I can. Probably stick wit uncompressed AVI using FRAPS if you don't mind joining the sections. So far it looks the best. You can join them right? If not I can but if you're gonna edit them anyway...

First off both my kids were scheduled c-sections. It happens more than you think... Doc says we'll do this at 8:30 am. Scheduled delivery. If she's a good friend she'll wanna be there. That's a +1 for her character. I'd steer clear of an 18 y.o. though. Been there done that wouldn't do it again. Same goes for strippers.

Ohh this is coming along nicely! Can I be promoted to contributer? J/K. Lol! @Circo: What do you have for PSP so far? I did a test run and I don't get the rez you want out of ripping since the PSP letterboxes on a regular TV. I can take snaps super easy with CFW Extender (title, in-game, etc) so that's easy enough. No idea how to get around the letterbox issue though. Too bad really as I have a pretty large collection of games to draw from and all games play 100% on it (and PSX games too if I eboot them)...

Do you have it enabled in the wizard? I use my cab's IP and port 6960 to display it. So in game extender viewer, you would prob do something like this: 192.168.1.5:8383 The first block is your IP (change it based on your setup) and I think 8383 is the default port GameEx uses unless you change it yourself. You may also need to make a firewall exception.

I'm guessing it will too (especially if I can just push the trackball to scroll the slider). I would have to play with the cosmetics to make it feel more at home (not like I wouldn't anyways! )... It still kinda feels super HTPC orientated on first look. Not that it's a bad thing mind you! Can't wait to tear this thing up and see what she can do!

Unless you can make the frame interface with your computer as a monitor you're pretty much SOL.

If you need me to do any editing in Premier let me know. I'm here for ya. No need to work yourself super hard if there's editing that can be done. Hell, you could probably use Windows Movie Maker if you wanted to do it all on your own and you were so inclined. If you wanted me to help, let me know and I'll set up a project FTP for you to share the videos on, I'll edit em, and you can turn them over to Circo. I may be able to help you fill out the list too, maybe I have some games you don't and vice versa. I love EmuMovies and I'll be more than happy to help you where I can without stealing your shine. It's a short list of people that can use the actual console to make videos, and as Circo said, there's no better way to do captures than with the real thing. Hell, maybe I should start on the PSP if you'd rather do it yourself. I even have the component video cable for it.

It does actually show in the log a line that reads "attract mode won't exit". Not sure if that helps ya Tom.

Damn I take one day off to write a sociology paper and something cool happens! I had to watch this twice to understand what was happening! Lol! So as you move across the menu bar GameEx displays some list elements? That's cool! You might consider adding a logo in too for those of us that prefer a more uniform approach. Maybe add a media/logos/menubar folder? Just a thought.

Ican help with this too. I have a converter that runs into PC via USB. Not sure if I can hit the quality you're looking for Circo. Let me try a couple cube games, run em through Adobe Premier, and let you decide.
