Yeah I do think that's part of the issue, especially if the 360 pad is wireless.

The tests are expensive and are probably different based on where you take them, you need to know a little about everything including obsolete information and computing history. Shitty thing is if you flunk, you're out the money and you have to pay again to test. I'm not sure if "certing up" is as important today as the education. That's more of a resume pad imho. ;-)

So you don't have a profile assigned for GameEx interface at all then? I'll look into it, but that's unusual... I don't think I did anything to make it launch a profile for the interface that wasn't there. :'(

Can you do me a favor and please post your xpadder plugin log? It's in the GameEx > Plugins > Xpadder folder.

That option doesn't exist AFAIK, and that's certainly not outside the realm of possibilities from a programming standpoint. We'll have to see what Tom says though.

This problem is the same in GameEx for the record. The mouse buttons on my cabinet play the sound repeatedly while the button is being held down. If Tom addresses this so that it behaves like HyperPin, hopefully he'll carry that over to GameEx too. ;-)

If you were using the Xpadder plugin, you could consult the log and make sure it's loading properly. If you're not, why not? :-)

I was gonna point out that I play my ROMs off a mapped network drive and don't have any issues at all. No crazy caches or anything like that, no noticeable lag of any sort. If that's of any help.
