  1. Fixed it. Awesome. I heart you.
  2. I'll change it and see if I'm still getting the same result. Too odd. With a changed theme, 32X now displays a preview snap while ones that had them, don't. I have no idea how this is happening. I'll keep messing with it until I figure it out.
  3. Sweet! Just dl'd it. I'll letcha know.
  4. Tom it even does it for an emulator I have 1 game for, Radikal Bikers. I've tried the video snap as an .avi AND as a .mp4 and from the selection menu it doesn't show.
  5. Gotcha, and thanks. EDIT: Still no joy. Pulled the roms, .avi for the roms and deleted cache files. Now it doesn't show that god awful game video or anything at all. I can see the system icon on the left and a blank square on the right where it would normally display a video.
  6. Freq, I've always had all my artwork in separate folders. I did triple check those options weren't used for those emulators. Tom, I will give that a try and see what happens. Will GameEx look for any other media format in the future or .avi is set in stone?
  7. Here's whats up. There is a few of my emulators that keep showing the same .avi snap on my emulators list or none at all. This is from the list, not after you select an emulator and you get to the games list. My Sega 32X video snaps are .mp4 except for one game (Romance of the Three Kingdoms IV) that's an .avi. If I scroll over any other emulator, it shows a snap of a game that changes every few seconds. 32X stays the same snap no matter what and its the same .avi of that same Romance of the Three Kingdoms game. It never changes. What's really wierd is that my Taito Type X2 video snaps are all .mp4 except for one game also but, from the emulator selection it shows no snap at all. Not even the 1 .avi that I have! It makes no sense to me. I know its a very minor detail but its a bit frustrating as I can't seem to figure it out. I've checked and double triple checked all emulator settings and in and out of the theme (Draco's Space Invaders) and I can't seem to fix it. Even deleting the cache files didn't do it. Before it gets asked, all videos display after selecting the emulator themselves. This is only from the emulator selection menu.
  8. Hey DJ I tried my game and all my Type X games run fine. My Type X2 games loaded all but BlazBlue. I'm using the shortcut *.lnk method of loading them. To fix the BlazBlue not working all I did was remake the shortcut and it runs like a champ again. Odd how only that game did that for me.
  9. I can't wait! Thanks Tom.
  10. I missed Thanksgiving all together, had to work Wednesday and Thursday. Regardless, I'm thankful everyday for my family, good health, home and even though I hate it 89% of the time my job. And of course, GameEx and community. This place truly has the best knowledge from its members and support than any other forum or any other frontend. Thanks to all. Hope everyone had a great day.
  11. I heart Fraps but this looks great man! Only capturing still at the moment or will it eventually evolve into video?
  12. For each emulator you're gonna have to set the controller up one way or the other. GameEx has handled most USB controllers (well 3 that I've thrown at it a 360, ps2 and logitec) and have had it work within the frontend without changing anything. These options can be changed though but I'm feeling a lot like Adultery, I'm not exactly sure what your looking for exactly.
  13. Don't hate on the Mama games! Hahahah!
  14. Thanks everyone! Since I'm on call 24/7, we went ahead and had my b-day dinner the other night. I freaking love Mexican food.
  15. I can't wait to see/try this new release once the bugs are out. Looks great Tom!
  16. K-man, I have to say that Vectrex background looks really good. Keep it up!
  17. Sega VMU?! All you'll need now is a Sony Pocketstation set to compliment the Pokemon Mini set and I think you'll be good to go.
  18. Looks dope as... hey, wait a minute. Jerk. I was all hyped up for another Draco release.
  19. Your not old, your just getting more experienced. I'm still 21 but, with 12 years experience at it.
  20. Happy B-Day to you Kustom! Hope you get to kick your feet up with a cold one after your 12 hour work day.
  21. Most yes! Glad you got it sorted. And I love your avatar. My kids want nothing but Portal 2 things for Christmas from Thinkgeek.
  22. You rock man, thanks.
  23. Hmm. Was this a new problem since an update or something? You should delete the cache file for that emulator and see if rebuilding that fixes it. Open the DATA file in the GameEx install folder, find the specific emulator by its number (check the Setup Wizard to see what number you have Atari 2600 as) and delete the cache files. These will rebuild upon startup.
  24. Holy freakin crap! I also didn't know you could do that. I only show my MAME favorites in the screensaver.
  25. Have you tried using the database for the Atari 2600? You can set that up within each specific emulator, inside the setup wizard. So games not only are trimmed up (brackets removed and so on) but also you'll get the description and info as well for each ROM.
