After struggling with just launching a game outside of GameEx, finally I got it ironed out and running. Thanks to Mesk, Adultery and fReq for the help (if you knew it or not). Now I just need a logo for both Type X and Type X2 hint hint Draco!

Oh my god Han! I feel for you terrible situation. Sometimes bad things happen to good people and, sometimes things happen for a reason. I'm sure there is a silver lining in there somewhere. On a side note, if you ever want to play that Star Wars Trivial Pursuit again, let me know.

Mednafen is the way to go and what I use. I believe to configure the controls you just do like you would in MAME, by selecting what button to assign to what key. If you grab a rom and load it up, then hit F2 for configuration. You can always hit F1 to see the command list options. I use Mednafen for NGP, NGP Color and of course, Nintendo Virtual Boy.

Draco I've checked all settings, video card is already updated, nothing in Device Manager looked array. I'm still using my modified X-arcade stick until I can find the time to install my iPac4. This is now reached frustration level as it does this for every game now thru GameEx.

Hey guys. Got my cab all put back together and the kids have been playing it just fine. They mentioned the controller not working after they exited a game but then yelled "never mind" (they used the mouse) and continued playing. I decided to play a game and yeah, the controller isn't working after exiting MAME or even emulators. I either have to use the mouse to exit or the keyboard Esc key to exit. I checked all my computer stuff after the move and its all fine.

I only keep vertical MAME games their native ratio. Galaga (one of my all time favs) looks like hammered ass fullscreen. All other emulators are stretched.

Wait, this is the MAME version of 720 right? Can't you just hit 'Tab' and try adjusting the x axis and y axis for that particular game? If memory serves me, that game didn't have a spinner at all but a joystick that rotated 360 degrees. Try changing those settings and see if that will help.

I saw a pededstal cp stand similar to that, just not as cool, on c-list in my area. The glow in the dark feature is pretty wicked though.

Ditto! But Angry Birds is a nice port title.

I thought that in the data folder in MUGEN that you could mess around with the mugen.cfg file and change buttons that way. Been a while since I've done that so I could be wrong.

I just compiled my MAME (ui64) and I can't believe how much better it is! It's so worth it. Add the latest hi_score.diff and your golden.

Here is my config - ParaJVE.txt Like I said before, I use an advanced config to process wait for javaw.

UPDATE!! After 5 months of tinking with this and messing with that, I finally got this emulator straight! For some reason the F11 hide menu hotkey was the issue. So in Advance Config I set Wait Before keys to 10000, then in Keys To Send I put {F11} {F11}. Once to draw focus to the menu and again to hide menu. Works now, and that's all I care about!

After a few years of renting and bettering our credit, the wife and I decided to take advantage of the sloping house prices, us my VA and buy a house. We looked at several houses and made only 1 offer. Now we did some compromises and sacrifices (mainly bedrooms and square footage) to keep the kids in the same school district and me on the same 4 minute commute to work groove. Long story short, we bought a house and today we closed. I rented a U Haul truck and will start to fill it on Monday. The bad news is, I'm taking apart my cabinet so it travels safer (moving 3 blocks down the street but still ). Extremely exciting times for me and I just wanted to share.

I have a theme just about finished. It's very basic, not as far complex as Mr. Draco's themes but still clean and simple. I'll add it as soon as its complete.
