  1. You're so strong, I'd hate to see how you open a Capri Sun pouch. I'm a Guinness and Newcastle kind of guy myself so i understand the agony and heartache you must have felt dumping that down the drain.
  2. That did it. Thanks K-man! Resolved.
  3. Firstly, Visual Pinball works in and outside of GameEx. It's not the emulator that is giving me hell, its VPinMAME. Yeah I really don't know what I did or didn't do to not get my VPinMame DMD to display on my screen when a table is launched in GameEx but it doesn't seem to want to show. I've got it to show a few times but less than I can count on one hand. Also, I've tried numerous different cmd lines and the one that is in the config is the only one that launches anything. Here is my emulator config. 4. I think its a great idea. As NullP was saying, it would be good so the announcements of updates from our local guys could be viewed and easily findable, and not lost in the mix of other threads. I know over at EmuMovies there is a section similar and is usually updated with info to the latest emulators via www.emucr.com links.
  5. What is your Show Desktop set too also?
  6. Dude thats money! Thanks!
  7. How about a Taito Type X2 logo? Thats the only request i have. They look really cool man, great job.
  8. Once you select MAME from the welcome screen, scroll all the way to the bottom and there should be an Update List option. Takes a few minutes to do, so get comfy.
  9. CT is correct. Show them both as the same.
  10. Not near my cab but from memory, I have all my PC games setup as its own emulator. Grab an empty slot in the setup wizard. Then make shortcuts to all your PC games, name them as you wish, and drop them into a folder called ROMs or whatever. Then, back at the setup wizard, for rom path show that folder. Make sure the rom filter is set to *.lnk. Alls you have to do after that is make sure that you have it set to ALT+F4 for exit on advanced and your set. Give that a whirl and lets see how that works.
  11. I second that YAY!
  12. About Minecraft, how exactly are you loading it? From a .lnk shortcut or directly from the .exe? I have mine setup within my PC games as a shortcut link. Then GameEx exits with a ALT+F4 for pc games.
  13. LOL! Your DK looks good, works fine, just tried it.
  14. To create the .bs7 file you can either use 105 image files (like what was used for the one I did) or you can use one of the converter programs to change an avi to a group of pngs. For the one I used, it's actually only 2 images, copied and pasted 105 times then opened in the program and converted to a .bs7 file.
  15. Still can't believe your doing this with an Xbox 'troller.
  16. Looking good man! Nice job.
  17. It's pretty easy. Once I find the right looking logo, I'm gonna make a rotating GameEx logo.
  18. And btw, its animated so the Invader guy moves his little invader guy legs up and down. Kinda cool imo.
  19. I wanted to shell Windows 7 but, at the same time didn't. I decided to tweak with somethings here and there and found a nice proggy called Win7bootupdater. Basically it gives you the freedom to create a custom windows boot screen. Searching the interwebs I found some cool ones. I took one and changed some things on it to match Draco's Space Invader's theme. Here is the finished product (it's animated too). Feel free to try it or modify it as you wish. Space Invader Blue.zip
  20. Happy B-Day Draco! Is it beer and pizza night or is it steak and lobster? Either way enjoy it and have a good one buddy.
  21. Thank you Tom!
  22. Thats right, Tab. I find it easier to check controls while still in GameEx as its easier to move from one title to the next via the frontend.
  23. NP, you brought a happy ray of shun shine to this thread! Yay! All joking aside, don't give up epicfatigue as once the smoke clears an its up and running properly, you'll see that $20 bux was a steal. More like YOUR ripping Tom and gang off, not the other way around. Now post us an .ini and lets get past this. Much love Adultery.
  24. I agree with Draco, looks very nice. Great job and great addition to the theme competition (when completed).
  25. Happy B-Day Starbuck!
