  1. It's a pretty neat tool. I've had this installed on my netbook to test out different apps. The Android OS is really neat. Pretending to call my work, then putting them on hold.
  2. Thank you Tom! The Laserdisc was actually request that I had made.

    Hurricane Irene

That's crazy man! It obviously didn't knock out the power, that's good. Glad everyone is ok on your end. I've been through hurricane Gloria when I was a kid in New York, I don't want to experience one of those again.
  4. Angled games work just as good. Bye bye No$GBA.

Hey mesk. The .fpl sound files go in your Libraries folder. As for the screenshots, do you mean artwork to show in GameEx or something else? I have 2 separate artwork folders, Titles and Snaps. I put my backglass shots in the Titles and full table shots in the Snaps folder. This is all personal preference too.
  6. XBMC is really clean and one of my favorites for media. I decided to just stick to games and games only on my cab. And with that, It totally opened up well over 80 gigs in just videos alone and music (I had way too much music on there). If and when I build another system, it will run GameEx (duh) and XBMC for sure.
  7. I use Future Pinball. Easy to set up, lots of options and a grip of tables.
  8. Compiling MAME takes about 45 minutes but well worth it in the long run. Like Hansolo77 said, use HK's MAME compiler and you'll be set.
  9. I'm stuck again guys. Can you not play SSF4AE with a player 2 or does it need to be connected somehow to another SSF4AE cab/game? I'd like to eliminate my PC version for the actual arcade version and have a versus match.
  10. I think so. The only thing I haven't test yet on it is 90 degree angle games (Ninja Gaiden). I'll hit that up once I hit home. If you do set it up make sure to NOT use a Mapping Off and have a send key to ALT ENTER for fullscreen.
  11. Congrats Mike!
  12. Yeah, whoops again. Seems I somehow misread that thinking that enabling [Mapping Off] was the fix. Slight Monday detail. Works fine now. And, better than No$GBA and No$Zoomer. Games that weren't loading or had texture issues work and run.
  13. Hocking XPadder again?! LOL! Shoot I can't believe I didn't think of that. Ima wrestle with it again with it and see how that goes.
  14. I have just the fighters and the games are freakin huge! Mesk and I have been tinkering with Samurai Shodown: Edge of Destiny and can't seem to get the controls to work. Either through the loader or with the typex_config. It's a shame because that game has some seriously great arcade graphics.
  15. Whoops, my bad. ds.txt
  16. Hate to bump an old thread but, I just decided to try this emulator (DeSmuME VS2008 x64 release) for compatiblity and am experiencing what zarkok was having trouble with. His "fix" isn't doing it for me. I too am using a 360 gamepad for this emu and it freezes or pauses when buttons are pressed and the same happens if I config the controls to my cab cp. Even though the runitgame.bat plays a game flawless, inside GameEx seems to be the issue. Can anyone else duplicate this issue?
  17. Here is what I got for you. - The .map file can be configured through the Setup Wizard when you select a particular emulator. - Playing music (ambient through GameEx) is also a setting in the Setup Wizard. You can point GameEx to a specific location of mp3's and GameEx will do the rest. - As for the weather display, this too is a Setup Wizard function that will work with version 4 themes.
  18. LMAO Draco!
  19. I really don't know where they go after an accident like this happens. Honestly, I'll take any one of those cars and fix it up. Little bondo, some duct tape and it'd be good to go.
  20. Here's an answer for you ScummVM located here. For some reason before, dummy files where used to launch games. The setup is a lot simpler now.
  21. Forgot to mention, NOBODY was injured thankfully. And last night, they opened the rail that we fixed yesterday so that's pretty cool.
  22. Some of you may know, I work for Union Pacific Railroad. I work an extra board that covers when people take vacation or are sick and I'm on call 24/7. Sometimes, as an extra board employee, I get to see some of the nasty derailments and accidents that tend to happen in my field. Some rad, some not so rad. This was a not so rad day. Well that's if you like brand new American made cars like I do. A loaded westbound auto train derailed 4 cars on the heavy grade (2% grade) right outside of Colfax, CA and then dragged them a mile before stopping. Here's what it looked like from the cab of the locomotive - This was taken after we laid the new rail panels down - More carnage (notice the wheel axels off to the left) - Another cool angle (the far one that's peeled open had the real goods in it) - The not-so new Chevy Equinox! UP bought all these vehicles btw - Here is the real goods. This whole car, full of Camaros. Ouch. - It makes me what to cry...
  23. On it's own it crashed every time for me. Even switched to Win NT it would still crash. Once I loaded it through PC Arcade Loader, then using the _Launcher.exe shortcut method, it works like a champ.
  24. Well I guess I'm not all set, KOF MIRA still crashes like before (even with compatibility set to Win XP). Originally I thought it was the game I had acquired but I think its a Win7 issue.
  25. Well a quick fix was to disable Custom Keyboard Controls. Now everything works again but is back to default controls.
