  1. I was unaware that some graphic cards drivers have Anaglyph support natively. I ended up trying iZ3D but its incompatible with Windows 8/.1 it worked amazingly on Windows 7 I was playing Super Mario 64 on PJ64 in 3D with it. But since that option no longer works for me I downloaded a program called TriDef and it works very well for PC games. Dolphin also looks good with it other than the hard slowdown. Theres a feature called Power 3D that makes it the game faster but theres these transparent squares in the middle and around the screen with it on. PJ64 wouldn't go 3D and neither would PCSX2. Both of which have Direct X 9 and 10 support. Oh and btw TriDef doesn't support OpenGL so PPSSPP cant go 3D either (atm). Still have to try NullDC and ePSXe.
  2. Theres been an update to the pcsx2 homepage (which is somewhat rare) so I thought I'd bring it to peoples attention: http://pcsx2.net/ Seems like they're getting their s**t together I'm really pumped for a x64 build of PCSX2. Hopefully it'll help with those problemed games like the Rachet series and others. Im gonna give the latest git build a try and see if theres any noticable improvement with anything already.
  3. Any of you play in 3D Anaglyph for any of your emulators? I know its kinda old and outdated but its really easy to get your hands on some red/cyan glasses nowadays for some reason. I've been trying to get Anaglyph working for Dolphin but i cant figure it out and everything I try doesn't seem to work for it. I can only assume there are other emulators out there that have 3D Anaglyph/shaders like a couple of Virtual Boy emulators. I'd really like to absorb as much knowledge on the subject for any emulators. I wanna be able to see what some games look like.
  4. Your first suggestion worked perfectly with the advanced emulator config! Gonna try getting saturn to work now.
  5. I've just tried the latest revison and it's amazing. I tried playing Turok Evolution which i was never able to get passed 30-40 FPS now plays at a solid 60 FPS! Although there was a bug in the sound where a white noise started to play and progressively got louder and louder and louder so I had to turn the sound (in game) to 0 and it went away. There is also the regression of (and I'm sure tere are others) Star Wars Rouge Squadron II does not even boot anymore I just get a black screen no matter what settings I use. It had very poor compatibility to begin with but it did boot and play to some extetnt. Here is the official progress report for last month, lots of CPU optimizations have been made. https://dolphin-emu.org/blog/2014/08/31/dolphin-progress-report-august-2014/ I'll upload the latest revision here for people who want to try it. It does not have the easy netplay feature like the one in my first post. Dolphin 4.0-2826.7z
  6. I responded to your question a couple days ago but a storm knocked out my power before I could finish. Yes some tweaking is required. Go here https://dolphin-emu.org/docs/guides/performance-guide/ Also, never use Open MP Texture hack as it rapes your FPS in a bad way. EDIT 9/1: If you add your game directory to Dolphin and right click your game in the list you can make game specific settings but only a few games really need their own settings like Paper Mario or F-Zero GX.
  7. Your build is very similar to mine if not better. You should definitely be able to play Dolphin at playable framerates. Not sure how good a GT 240 is though compared to my HD 7750.
  8. If you like making Kamehameha gestures at your screen like a fool then yeah. Otherwise just stick to the PS2 version. I'm jelly at your GFX card. Was gonna crossfire another 7750 into the one I got already but I got screwed at the last second and couldn't get it. :/
  9. I'd like to know your specs. But a good place to start would be these games: There should be something there that you like
  10. I updated the topic title and added more stuff to my first post.
  11. GameEx lets me choose what button is the back button and the enter button for my 360 controller, not exactly sure why something similar can't be done with the home button(Although I know jack S**T about anything). Some native support would be nice. For example PPSSPP automatically configures controls for 360 controllers but you can also alter them at your discretion. But if it doesn't get implemented then I'll have something to fall back on at least.
  12. FEATURE REQUEST: integrated support for xbox 360 controllers for navagation and utilize the "Guide" button in the middle of the controller to bring up Move lists/ in game menu or whatever. Just make use of that damn button lol. There's only 1 program on my PC that even aknowledges that is a button and uses it and I don't even remember which program it is. Much appreciated!
  13. Theres no debate here I was just having some sarcastic fun. Dazzle knows lol. Sucks to hear Lunch is no longer being improved.
  14. Yeah so it does this crazy thing where it just loops over and over again. This is when I run the bat file with Dolphin running. Dolphin does not close btw. :/
  15. No idea what you're even asking me man I'm a scrub lol.
  16. My bat file looks like this TASKKILL /IM Dolphin.exe /F taskkill.rar
  17. I'm sorry to hear Bonus wouldn't put out for you, I guess some have that special touch and some don't.
  18. I have tried both of what you said with this command TASKKILL /IM Dolphin.exe /F here is how I set up the quick launch: neither method worked. I also don't know S**t about commands or stuff like that. :s
  19. Like I said, I point it to the folder where my PCSX2 emulator exe resides. Make your PCSX2 Data directory the same as your PCSX2 directory. That is what I've done and mine is working.
  20. Just tried that and it didn't work. Also none of my commands worked either.
  21. I just tried TASKKILL /IM Dolphin.exeGoing to try TASKKILL /F /IM Dolphin.exe next. If that doesn't work I'll tryTASKKILL (/F) /IM Q:\Emulators\Dolphin\Dolphin.exe () being both with and without the /FThis was from Advanced Emulator Setup. No idea how to put that into my .bat. @uman I have .bat files because my modded Wii requires my ISOs to be in specifically named folders with specifically named ISOs (Which is game.iso) so its very necessary unless I want to deal with all my GameCube game list saying Game over and over unfortuantely. I like emulation better because it just looks better on my PC than on my actual Wii.
  22. I just point all the directories to my PCSX2 emulator folder. All works for me like that. I don't understand it either lol.
  23. As I said before that is all set up that way because my GameEx setup is pointing to .BAT files that execute dolphin and load the ISO I am pointing it to. All I need is for Dolphin to close lol. Here is an example of what my .BAT files look like: "Q:\Emulators\Dolphin\Dolphin.exe" -e "I:\Games\GCBE7D Crash Bandicoot Wrath of Cortex\game.iso" I am on Windows 8.1 btw. That command you gave me did nothing. :/
  24. I come back to GameEx but Dolphin stays running in the background. And if I were to play another GameCube game another instance of Dolphin will load and that too will stay open after quitting a game.
  25. I still really hope he'll return to help with the cleanup though hehe.
