    Not sure where the errors come from. In your log. It looks like it is still not having all the access to monitor the vp995 process.     Did you run settings.exe and verify all at the end ? It looks like it misses some sections in the ini.

    Whats your resolution of your screens in windows? In the ini i see this, is this correct? windowwidth=1796 windowheight=1010 Do you have the same with other emulators, or only with FP

    I'm not aware that PBX should delete files or modify screenres.txt The INI file you post looks corrupt to me. Do you have a bad harddrive in your system ? If so, try a CHKDSK /r from the prompt to check and repair your harddrive (Also check your eventlog) Do you have a backup system running on your CAB ? I had a similar thing with realtime backup to my NAS. Files get locked by backup and deleted them.

    Just installed version PBX 3.56 and all is working. Can you please post your pinballx logfile, and your pinballx.ini file as attachment (not as plain text) ? See : What do you mean with the Key "E". Where did you define that ? The meaning of this frontend is, that you use the keys of the frontend to exit it, and not the exit of the emulator.

    Never thought that it was pinballx.exe that could causes this. Now all is working. Streaming, Exit PBX, shutdown PC and edit settings are working too (that never worked for me Good catch Tom (and I have a signature !) Edit:I only tested the 32 bit version

    Well.. you got description in your xml which contains unicode characters, and files don't can have unicodes. I will make something which also contains a test mode ( So it will shows what to delete) Exactly.. I already have that code, because one of my cleaning contains that. I will let you known when I have an alpha/beta version of it

    Sounds good. Let me think about it. Too bad I haven't time the next couple of weeks, but after that I can do it. Are all your video tables matches the name in the xml name ? I use for myself right now the registry entries I create with this application. But that should match the xml's.

    Wow. Thanks guys. I appreciate the nice words. I noticed some bugs in the logging. I will fix that and call it final version. Edit : Only did a text change in the logging (not a big deal) and put the version to 1.0 I'm also in progress to create a cleanup part for the Media. This means for myself I cleanup : Remove all data in the Media folders that i specify : "Backglass Images","DMD Images","DMD Videos","Real DMD Color Images","Real DMD Images","Real DMD Videos","Screen Grabs","Screen Grabs Backglass","Table Images","Table Images Desktop","Table Videos Desktop"(I use cabinet mode and want to use videos and no images ) Remove all the *.f4v files in Table Videos and Backglass Videos (creating my own MP4 files with gamemanager) Remove all videos in 'Table Videos' and 'Backglass Video's that doesn't have a corresponding name using by this tool (lot of videos has a version number in it. so no need to keep multiple versions of a video) RealDMDVideos (in VP9 and VPX) that are not 7 seconds long (I create my own videos with a small script of 7 seconds) With all this above I run it for the first time and remove around 8.9 Gb of files I didn't use. This is just for only my cabinet, but is there any interest to have this for other users ? If so, what would be all the criteria ?

    Thanks man. I appriciate it. Im not a developer, so wasn't sure if this could help someone. I use this tool too. I run it every time I add or modify tables. Just run in 30 seconds and creates all. Glad I could help you with this and thanks for testing it and reporting issues.

    Not sure if your problem is a pbx issue or a Windows issue. What OS do you run ? Found this on internet. Maybe helps you Go to Control Panel Power options Choose what the power buttons do Change settings that are currently unavailable UNCHECK Turn on Fast Startup (recommended) If not, please post log and ini file (as files not copy/paste as text)

    If you click yes, whill it add new tables ? As far as I know, it should check the tabledirectory and if this contains extra than your database xml, it would add this.

    Good luck ! Can also be a powersupply issue I had this ones too that my powersupply was not giving 5v and 12v constant and give a irq less or equal too. But must be a hardware issue...

    I already check the registry @scutters but in the registry I put the name of the game (game name from xml). Thats normally the filename (for fp, vpx and vp9) but if the filenam change because of the version number, I see this now as a new entry. But it should be a modified one. But hard to trigger (and does'nt want to loose speed by cycling the complete registry) how many tables do you have ? Only the few you like ?

    I had the same. Thats why I cteated this I had the same (arround 1000 tables in total). Thats why I created this. I prefer the Createseperatefile=false option (or the blank default), but @scutterswanted 2 files. So pick the best what you prefer to use. But give it a try and let me know what you think

    I was just thinking .. You can import the database XML files easily in Excel (<pinballx folder>\databases\). If the video names matches the name as in Excel (as it should be), you can do extract this list, do a copy of all those Video's to a subdir and it is cleaned
