No I'm around, honestly unless I get a volunteer to manage the naming it's probably not going to change anytime soon as there is no easy way I can figure to do it. Here is how I see it - NES Vids, Snaps, Titles, Carts, Boxes, Manuals - all with the same name, so much easier to rename the roms (Copy Paste) than to rename 6 sets worth of files. It is a huge amount of work (HUGE) and if I am doing that then no new content. But if anyone would like to help.....

Since the new video set was added I decided to finish the entire NES set. I have just completed and added Snaps, Titles, Carts, Boxes & Manuals. These are very complete sets and all share the no-intro naming convention along with the videos. All of these goodies can be found on the NES page of the Console Collections section of the website.

problem is I have a really excellent set up with the torrent that virtually guarantees they are always well seeded. but the place that hosts my torrents forbids any nintendo content. anywhere else that I could host it is either private (and I don't want to link to a rom site) or would die within a week or two. therefore nintendo and eventually sony is only available on the ftp.

First off I would like to welcome a new member to the EmuMovies team, Keno!! Keno is the 3rd contributor to the project and we are very excited to have him on board. As many of you know the NES video set was the set the began the EmuMovies project way back in 2005. It was also horrible, as it was the attract mode of each game. I guess real attract modes were not so big on the NES because many of them were just a title screen and music. Real Exciting��� Keno took it upon himself to redo the whole set, the results are just fantastic. There is an HQ and SQ version of the set and it is in the No-Intro naming format. You can find this new set on the Nintendo NES Page under The Console Collections section.

Ever consider getting videos that were already done

I wish I didn't have to do that subfolder thing on the ftp but the server starts dropping files for some reason if there are too many in a directory. For now if you have to break it up, I also put any new files in the WIP folder as well as the mame folder. Also someone emailed me last week that might be helping out with dat files since I have had no luck with them. Hopefully he comes through (crosses fingers).

That's never happened to me before is this in the latest version or something? I havent turned on my cab in a couple of weeks but last time I did (middle of june) I updated gameex and did not experience a similar problem.

Thought it would be a good time to give everyone a quick update on the EmuMovies Project. Been so tied up with MAME stuff that I haven't really taken a break in awhile. Anyway here is what's new. - Mame .125 Beta Video Snaps Torrent Released - Sega Game Gear Box Scans Added - 212 Files - Sega Saturn Game Manuals Added - 60 Files - Sony Playstation Boxes (Covers) Added - 1397 Files - Sony Playstation Manuals Added - 423 Files - Sega CD Snaps Added - 161 Files - Sega CD Titles Added - 161 Files - Sega CD Boxes Added - 166 Files - Sega CD Cart (CD) Scans Added - 154 Files - Sega CD Manuals Added - 151 Files - 3DO Boxes Added - 292 Files - 3DO Cart (CD) Scans Added - 56 Files - 3DO Game Manuals - 44 Files - ZX Spectrum in development with WIP on FTP In addition to the new content the website itself has had a few needed upgrades. The entire site got a much needed facelift with an updated home page, contact page and an entirely rebuilt news page than finally matches the rest of the site and is error free. Also fun information and status pages have been designed for all the different Arcade, Console, Handheld and Computers listed on the site. I have also syndicated the gameex news feed into the news section (If any other Front-End developers out there have an RSS feed for their progress, pls let me know) I will be cooped up in a hotel room for the entire week so I am going to make some more headway on the different artwork packs and start back on videos again when I get home. I know things have been quiet around here for a bit, but it doesnâ??t mean that big things have not been happening behind the scenes. I am not quite ready to announce some of the suprises that I have in store but news should be springing up over the next few weeks and beyond as work progresses. But I did want to take a moment to announce some new members to the EmuMovies team. First I would like to introduce you to Shannon who is now taking care of all orders and ftp accounts, basically customer service. She is making sure that instead for the average 10 days to get an order shipped now turnaround times are 2 to 5 days. And she is also managing the timely setup of all ftp accounts for our sites supporters. I am very excited to have her on board and I am sure everyone else is too She can be reached via e-mail - [email protected] Please feel free to drop Shannon a line welcoming her to the team (She is going to get me for this) Secondly I would also like to welcome -=Flash=- to the team, flash is currently producing content that is computer related. So far he has redone the vectrex videos, and is currently neck deep on the spectrum collection. His work can currently be found on the FTP but will soon be added to the other distribution methods as well. I imagine -=Flash=- will be posting news items on his progress, and I must say it is a giant relief to have someone so committed (at least he should be) joining the project!

Guys my apologies, the first page had all kinds of issues with the paypal links. I didn't catch it and was in a rush. Well I started to get some feedback so I fixed the page and figured it was good. Well I kept getting feedback, figured out that for some reason no matter how many times I updated the page on my end it wasn' updating on the server. So finally I deleted the existing page and uploaded a brand new one. I just had it tested and everything should be perfect. So sorry about all of the issues

Just thought it was only fair to give a heads up to all. I have not been around for the last week or so due to personal problems. Just to let everyone know that I am aware of the ordering page issues and that some shipments have been delayed. If you have not yet recieved your order rest assured that I am getting all outstanding orders out today. I apologize but unfortunately the only internet access that I have had for the past week is my cell phone and I am pretty limited with what I can do with that. So please cut me a little slack, I am completely focused on catching things up today. I am aware that the MAME set torrent also needs to be posted and will get to that as soon as everything else is caught up. Also if you are having issues with the FTP ordering link please use the donate button instead. This goes for registered GameEx users as well. On a side note we have another contributer to the project now, -=Flash=- has taken it upon himself to start working on computer system previews. His work will be incorporated into the site shortly and is currently available on the ftp.

There will be continuous updates to the mame set, and will be easily accessable. Any missing or new games will be available for direct download since folks have been buying the dvds. Dat for control?

Ok everyone I think this is a fun idea, I am looking for youtube videos of folks showing off their gaming system using video snaps from emumovies with their front end (GameEx Right??) I will be accepting submissions through May 10th 2008.
