  1. Darn! And I just upgraded. Now I gotta do it again! Thanks again Tom!
  2. Thanks Tom!
  3. I'm not HK but I had no issues compiling this version. What version of MAME Compiler you using? Also, why are you using an older diff hiscore file?
  4. Sorry to hear that Brian! We are thankful for all you do. Hope things get better and we look forward to your return.

    Problems

I'm not much for that feature as well but to each his/her own. I really agree with not adding another setting. We have enough as is.
  6. FatMatch by member Fatone85 is a good tool that may give you the results you're after.
  7. Details can be found in the link of member Tempest's signature.
  8. Good deal! Enjoy!
  9. No problem! Have fun!
  10. Try the following: x64.exe -fullscreen -cartcrt "[ROMPATH]\[ROMFILE]" I'm not at my system to test but it would be some variation of that.
  11. Thanks for the news!
  12. Not a bug. You're command line is incorrect. Should be: mess.exe apple2e -flop1 "[ROMPATH]\[ROMFILE]" -joy -now -nonewui The -s6d1 was the problem. The site does say that one but according to MESS the correct one is -flop1. Also I guess you may use a different mess since your exe is messpp.exe. Hope that helps.
  13. Thanks Tom! Great work!
  14. VKCodes.htm found in the CONFIG\EMULATORS directory of your GameEx install.

    Problems

Ok. Thanks for the input. Will do some testing and will let Tom know.

    Problems

To enable the custom background for an emulator, all that needs to be done is to select it in the Custom Background setting found in the Emulator Setup section. As far as the other issue, I have no clue since don't use that theme but hopefully someone who has experience with that will jump in.
  17. Here's one post with someone having their video memory in the negatives. There's also links off of that thread that may link to something useful. Hope it has some usefulness.
  18. Thanks for the updates Tom! Everything is comin along nicely.
  19. Thanks for jumping in and making it seem like I meant that in a bad way. I did not have that intention. I simply was pointing them in the direction so that they know where to find things.
  20. Very nice! Thanks for the contribution!
  21. As far as where the data is stored.... It is stored in the DATA directory of your GameEx install. The file name is data.mdb which is a database file. I would think that your favorites should still be there since in that file I have not seen anything based on location of the roms but just the names. As far as your other issues I'm not quite sure how this would be done since I would think it should be done already. Bumping this since you haven't had a response in a few days in hopes that someone experienced in this particular issue can help.
  22. This line seems like something that may be need to be looked into: 18:59:19.9 4/7/2010: -1431mb video memory available Bothers me that your available memory is in the negatives. I remember seeing something like this before in a log but don't recall the solution. Someone else may jump in if they remember. I'll do a search and see if I can come up with anything. For giggles try using a different theme. Preferably the Default - MCE Glossy V3 theme.
  23. Run a game again and after it duplicates the issue you're having then exit GameEx and then run the runitgame.bat file found in Start >> All Programs >> GameEx >> Utilities >> Run Last Game. If it happens when running the runitgame.bat file then we can determine from there that it's an emulator issue and not GameEx related.
  24. I confirm this as well. I tested and it seems this goes for lots if not all images. The links are different so something Tom needs to look into. When image is clicked as bkenobi mentioned (this particular image) the link is: http://gamesdbase.com/Media/SYSTEM/Texas_Instruments_TI_99_4A/Snap/big/Alpiner_-_1982_-_Texas_Instruments.jpg The link for the In Game link is: http://gamesdbase.com/Media/SYSTEM/Texas_Instruments_TI_99_4A/Snap/big/Thumb_Alpiner_-_1982_-_Texas_Instruments.jpg Difference is the Thumb_ in the link. Thanks for the mentioning of the bug bkenobi! Hope Tom sees this or I'll mention it to him next time I talk to him.
  25. No problem! Saw your report on their site. Always test outside of GameEx first and verify the emulator. This eliminates the possibility of it being a GameEx issue. Glad you got it all sorted out. Have fun!
