You could always have referenced to the link in your signature to have figured that out too.
  6. Thanks for the news Tom!
  7. Ok. I'll try to troubleshoot on my end to confirm the bug so we can get Tom to fix. Thanks for the report and sorry for the inconvenience.
  8. Please try adding the /close parameter to the mix as well. Report back. If not then we'll meet in chat and try to troubleshoot in real-time. i.e. "C:\Programs\K-Lite Codec Pack\Media Player Classic\mpc-hc.exe" [VIDEO] /fullscreen /play /close GameEx should have no trouble launching this at all. I've used this player on my HTPC previously from the command-line and since that's how GameEx works, it shouldn't have any problems. There is also a setting in the player that may be causing this behavior.

The files can also be located in the same directory of the table so since yours are in zip and that's usually how they are managed, unzipping them using zip support would be great when launching a table that has it's own sound file.
  11. [ROMPATH] and [ROMFILE] are not valid parameters for the external player. Try instead. i.e. "C:\Programs\K-Lite Codec Pack\Media Player Classic\mpc-hc.exe" [VIDEO] /fullscreen /play This is documented in the help context of this setting. But do be careful with your syntax as Draco pointed out when using parameters.
  12. Was the ProSystem.ini file just not keeping the saved settings when running from command-line?
  13. Happy Bday! The big 40 huh?
  14. I confirm. I guess it was overlooked. Thanks for the report. Hopefully this will be addressed soon.
  15. So your roms were indeed also in 7zip format?
  16. I don't see how having 2 copies of the same emulator is ideal either. But to each his own. Go with what works for ya.
  17. Fusion doesn't have a way to do that from command-line. The parameters are very basic. So if the setting is not being saved in the ini then only have two options. First as you guessed would be to set the file to read-only which you say is "drastic" but don't see how that's a problem when it makes it work and doesn't affect anything at all. Second would be to script something that changes the ini on each launch. So if you don't know how to script than I would opt for option one.
  18. Actually testing with runitgame.bat file will tell everything. Try following step 4B in the How to ask for Help pinned topic. Drop the -nonewui switch.
  19. And using sendkeys from the config itself can eliminate the need for a script so it can all be handled by GameEx. As far as using an advanced config and why it's conflicting, this is something I would have to test to figure out. Maybe someone who actually uses this emulator can jump in and explain but if not then I'll figure it out.
  20. From the looks of it, it's just a check to see if the image is mounted. Not really required since the image should be mounted using the launch before anyways or using integrated mounting depending on image type and preference of user.
  21. Well you can write the batch to always write the correct drive for that ini. But that's still something that would be a work around. The settings should save. Test outside of GameEx. Are settings still being saved? One thing I can think of is maybe using an advanced config to correctly exit the emulator because I've see where emulators don't write to the ini correctly when exited by other means (i.e. GameEx closing the process instead of exiting using the hotkeys).
  22. Are you referring to the Fusion.ini file? It's not keeping the setting after loading from GameEx?
  23. It is rare but it's been known to happen. As a fail-safe, Tom makes backups of the original settings but unfortunately this file was overwritten too many times to restore the settings. Always important to check your files before doing so many upgrades in a row. I'm sorry for the inconvenience. I hope ThumB is able to restore somehow.
  24. So the backup ini is incomplete as well? If that's the case then maybe try a system restore but other than that, I have no suggestions if the file was overwritten that many times.
