  1. Ah ok. I think it was a differences in romsets. We haven't worked on that for awhile so had forgotten anything about it. LOL. Well let me know what needs fixing and we'll try to sort it out.
  2. Well I'm not sure that would work. Wouldn't that be the same as running in 640x480 screen resolution Compatibility mode? Running in this mode still causes the emulator to stretch the image on a widescreen.
  3. LOL. Ok. I thought so. When you had said it and I didn't have it when I tested I thought something was up. Odd that your Goodset bios roms didn't work for you though as those are the ones I used for testing and they worked fine. Nostalgia is rated pretty good from my sources. Aspect ratio is not maintained and is still stretched but it does seem to handle stretching better than bliss as it does not cut off parts of the screen. I just downloaded and tested. It also seems to configure gamepad just fine from the menu but that I did not test on my end. I say just give it a try.
  4. LOL. Got us excited for nothing.
  5. I wasn't aware that no-intro had an Intellivision set. I just tested on my htpc and it does stretch fullscreen. There is no setting to keep aspect ratio. I guess we'll wait for Adultery to confirm when he returns from work.
  6. What button(s) do you want to cycle back instead of ESC? Since this is not possible in MUGEN, then the alternative would be an advanced config or a script. To exit emulator MUGEN uses ESC. To cycle back in the menu it is also ESC. What are you trying to do? Need more input.
  7. Please post your config so we can have a look see.
  8. That's good. As far as aspect ratio, I don't remember seeing a setting or a switch for this. If that's the case then maybe another emulator will be more to your liking.
  9. My sources indicate that 2.0.5 is the latest release. And it does appear that the homepage is dead. You can always get the latest from GameEx's site. It's hosted here. The direct download link is here. I would try that first and then try to troubleshoot that version. I haven't ran this in a long time but first things first. Let's get that done and then move on from there. I'll redownload and help troubleshoot as needed.
  10. Not all arcade games work well in MAME. MAME is a great emulator but there are others that do well where MAME hasn't yet. Some games do better in other emulators. However MAME is growing all the time and eventually/hopefully there will be no need for these emulators. A good source of those arcade games that don't work well in MAME is NonMAME. It lists the games and the emulators.
  11. If you only downloaded a few days ago then it's safe to say that it can be narrowed down to the codec.
  12. There are guides out there but not to a specific emulator except for a few. Way too hard to cover everything out there. As much as we'd like to, it's just too much work. But we are here to help and will get you sorted. What kind of problems are you having? By not getting it going, what do you mean? Please give more detail. Posting a config can also help us to troubleshoot. Instructions on how to do so can be found in the How to ask for Help topic.
  13. I thought we had this working Ian! No?
  14. Good Luck!
  15. What is it that you're trying to accomplish? Since it seems you're not wanting to map ESC in GameEx, are you wanting to remap it in Mugen?
  16. Ok. Did you select the javaw.exe to be watched in that particular advanced config? Cuz if you did with the program then it should work.
  17. Thanks Tom!
  18. You're command-line is incorrect! As stated in my post, it should be the following: ParaJVE.exe -Game=[ROM] -Fullscreen=TRUE -Menu=OFF -NoSplash
  19. The map file is version 0.7.0. Is that the version of ParaJVM you're using? Also please post your config so that we can see what's going on.
  20. You can point to the roms folder or even the emulator folder. Doesn't really matter since gonna be using a map file for the listing. Just point to the map file from my post and it will load the rom using the suggested command-line.
  21. We'll have to do some testing on bliss. Not sure the problem you are having. Please post issues in the general forums. To make ParaJVE work in GameEx, a map file can be used for the naming. Click on my signature and look for the ParaJVE map file in my map file section. Also required is an Advanced Config to watch the javaw.exe Process so GameEx won't steal focus. Also in my post is the command-line for this emulator to work in GameEx. Please make any adjustments needed for your system.
  22. Wow! Thanks Tom & Ben!
  23. Happy bday!
  24. What exactly are you trying to accomplish? Also should start a new thread as this is a new issue and was already resolved. I will move it as soon as you respond.
