+1 for Mednafen but make sure to download the WIP version as the standard release does not yet support Virtual Boy. Another option if using the other emulators is to use GameEx's built in advanced config to map controls or even XPadder.

A similar plugin that does this gives this option in the ini instead of the settings. Maybe the way to go to avoid confusion and will only be used by us more techy users. The option is to use an alternative command-line. So if it exists it uses that and if not then it uses the standard ones in the setup wizard. Even that program didn't give as much control as I would like which is why I had to do something on my own to get to work the way I wanted. So maybe Tom will think it's a good feature enough to add and I'm willing to give suggestions on how it should work.

Correct! No hi-score support in ZiNc. Best solution is to run the game in a compiled version of MAME when possible. It's been mentioned that the newer versions of MAME have been running ZiNc games great, so eventually there will be no need for ZiNc (or already so). I haven't confirmed this myself but it's the talk around the forums.

Not yet but as you've discovered would be a feature request. Maybe a way to customize the command-line to our liking.

Ok. Will test when I get to my machine for you and give you the results. Edit: Using Mednafen and pressing Alt+Shift+1 worked just fine in mapping the controls for me with the latest WIP version. Haven't toyed with MESS yet. Stay tuned.

I use the WIP version found in their forums. I'll have to do some testing for you to see what's going on. I won't be able to do that till later though.

On Top and didn't see it? LOL. Must not have looked very good. Still not completely RESOLVED as the question about changing the image was never answered.

I don't know the image name as I'd have to search my machine and not at it at this time. As far as the text, can you not change this in the Custom Text section of Text/Language settings?

I am unable to duplicate. My resolution is fine when exiting with ESC. Are you setting the resolution for the game also to match that of your display?

Good deal. Always keep that in mind with themes. They sometimes can change standard features.

Maybe you have the Hide Toolbar setting in Display Settings set to something that doesn't show it. Mine usually shows when the mouse is active. But there are other settings.
