  1. Only 2? Is that all?
  2. Correct! Give it a go and see.
  3. Setup Wizard: Advance MAME Settings MAME Options
  4. I believe you need the -mouse switch in your commandline for that to work.
  5. Ahhh can't give up after all we've been doing to try to get it to work for ya.
  6. Only other thing I can think of is maybe trying to not use the database. Clear that section out not to use the [Console] Sega Genesis database.
  7. I tried running this emu with a rom and all worked fine for me. When running outside of GameEx we mean from commandline, not from the emu itself.
  8. The roms themselves don't need to be configured. Just point to the path and play. As far as the emulators however, they do need to be configured as far as resolution, controls, etc. Only Arcade roms need to be configured sometimes as there may have been changes. Programs like clrmame help in managing these.
  9. Well once you have your roms and have put them in your current roms directory then in GameEx you simply Update List found in the bottom of the the MAME section. Also make sure you have setup the filters to fit your needs in the Setup Wizard or Advanced Configuration.
  10. We can help with setting up GameEx. Can not help with finding roms or sharing them other than try google.
  11. Please read the Rules. Asking for Roms or Links to roms is not allowed in this forum!
  12. Good deal! No problem. Have fun!
  13. Have you tried running from commandline to verify? From what I can tell maybe it's that you don't have a space between 2 of your switches and also a space after the "-" where there shouldn't be one. Not sure if that's the problem or not. You have: - triplebuffer-nowindow Should be: -triplebuffer -nowindow

No need to double post in other threads. I believe the loader you are referring to was removed at the author's request. It can no longer be downloaded or shared in this forum.
  15. GameEx has basic zip support so for you to get this to work, you would have to unzip not only the table but all the libraries required to run the table as well. There's different ways of approaching this. You can script something or even make a batch file to accomplish this. Since we all have our collections in different ways, it's hard to give an exact fix.
  16. Good job buddy! Congrats! Hope to be like you someday.

    karaoke

As far as the text I'm not aware of the font being able to be changed. I know there are some players out there that have filters that make them appear nicer. My preferred karaoke player is called Swift Elite. However I could be wrong and there might be a way do to do this. Just never looked into this before. Sorry couldn't be much help on that one.

    karaoke

LOL. It's all good. I at least got the collection out of it. LOL. Karaoke is fun so would be great if we can get Tom to add this feature. I've brought it up before. Perhaps should post in request feature topic. Also would be good to handle subfolders just like videos and pictures does cuz have mine sorted by collection and then of course the disk itself. Have way too many to put in just one folder. Well good luck with what you're trying to accomplish. . It's one of those things I got into and couldn't stop as we all do with emulation.
  19. Are you setting fullscreen from commandline? If so it should switch it on each time you run. You're commandline should be: "WinKawaks.exe" [Rom] -fullscreen

    karaoke

GameEx doesn't play zips but Media Player does with the known karaoke plugin. I keep mine zipped personally. Again it's preference so that's up to you. Maybe Tom can add zip as an extension since it does play inside Windows Media Player. As far as renaming there's lots of tools out there. The one I use is made specifically for Karaoke called KJ File Manager. It's a great tool if you're gonna start managing your karaoke collection. Mine is pretty huge so I use all these karaoke tools and many others for playing and creating my song books. I've tried many karaoke programs cuz was heavily into there for awhile cuz of the ex-girlfriend. So if you have any questions then don't hesitate to ask.

    karaoke

I also remember messing with one of the files that GameEx creates. Was either KaraokeData.dat or KaraokeFiles.dat in the DATA directory of GameEx. Don't recall which one as it still didn't give me the results I wanted but once it generates the name of your songs then you can go in there and change them and it will list the way you want. Just a thought.

    karaoke

Yeah I would leave name alone. It might not be friendly in GameEx but it's usually the standard naming convention for all karaoke. I don't use GameEx for my karaoke so many programs read this format. It's all really up to you. But as bkenobi said you could always rename all your files. The reason I keep mine intact is for my karaoke book. Sunfly is good, also Legends, DKKaraoke, Sound Choice, and I also like Monster Hits. It really depends on your choice of music. There are also many other collections out there but these are the ones I find I use most.
  23. I could help out Circo. I'm sure I can create something to do it easily instead of manually. PM me if you're interested.
  24. What version of MAME did you have before? What version of Icons did you have? Did you upgrade your icons to match the new version of MAME?
  25. One could try!
