  1. Can you give more details about the error? From my experience you don't get "Play This Game" as an option when using zip support. When extracting using WinRar, are you just extracting the fpt files? Some tables require additional files needed to run like fpl which are the library files needed for the table to work. Give us more detail so we can help ya out.
  2. Great update! Thanks guys for all your hard work.
  3. Either will work. MameUI is the same as mame except it gives it a user interface. Well you don't really need it since that's exactly what GameEx does and does it a lot better.
  4. Ahhh don't let it get messy. LOL. You'll do alright. Lots of very knowledgeable people here to help. You couldn't afford me.
  5. Are you sure you mean SNES? Well post in the forums if you run into any trouble. Not sure if I'll be home anytime today to IM me. Taking care of my mom out of the hospital.
  6. Well haven't talked to him as of late but I know he was working on it. What happened is the date of the naming convention was incorrect. It was over a year old so nothing matched to anything current. Maybe he'll pop in here to give an update or I'll contact him later when I get home to see what he says.
  7. In that case go with a map file. Can have GameEx generate one for you based off your list and then edit it to list the one disc instead of multiple ones. Then have that emu call on the map you edited. I would copy the generated one's contents to a new file to avoid it getting overwritten by GameEx.
  8. LOL. Are you sure you mean SNES? . You can build them by country if you wanted to using regex in the set information section of clrmame. Just select the roms and then for each country can build in it's own folder.
  9. A map file would be the way to go to list but how are your directories? Are you using multiple directories to store your ISO's?
  10. Always try outside of GameEx to verify. Now it's narrowed down. Thanks walmartman for jumping in. When you do get it to work also make sure you unzip all the library files needed to run that table. Just unzipping the table using the unzip feature in GameEx will not always make the table work for those that require their own libraries.
  11. What are your results when you run outside of GameEx?
  12. ClrmamePro is what I use as it is a lot more powerful than RomCenter. But it is tricky to learn at first. If you want ease then go with RomCenter. I use to use RomCenter until I learned Clrmamepro and now will never switch back. If you need help then you can always ask here in the forums or even the forums dedicated to those tools. I can help with any Clrmamepro questions.
  13. Could it be that the extension is there twice? You have: "D:\PC Emulation\Shortcuts\Outrun Coast to Coast.lnk.lnk" Should be: "D:\PC Emulation\Shortcuts\Outrun Coast to Coast.lnk"
  14. Good deal! Well let's get it going for ya.
  15. ZiNc does not have a gui so it only runs from commandline. The way it works is it runs by a list number instead of the rom name. Are you running from GameEx where it's integrated or you running as a stand alone emulator?
  16. Try putting quotes on your directory so it reads as follows: Options: -framefile "D:\Emulation\Roms\Laserdisc\Dragon's Lair (DVD)\lair.txt" Not sure if that will work or not since mine reads differently. But worth a try.
  17. As far as your Zinc problems post what kind of problems you're having so we can narrow it down. Check your post on Daphne and I'll see if I can help you get it going.
  18. No way of sorting by country unless you change name or you could make a map file to sort them by country. You could set up several times for each region as many have done or you can create a script with ahk or autoit to accomplish this. There's different ways of approaching this. Just takes some logic. Many experienced users to help you on your way once you decide how you wanna tackle this. But to make it simple I would suggest just putting all in the same directory.
  19. Unfortunately you have to have them in one directory. There are other clever ways around this however. But would require some work to get it done.
  20. Ahhh. Got it!
  21. Isn't this what the "Snap Best Match" option does in the Tweaks/Performance section? I thought if No was selected then it would use exact match and if Yes was selected then it would search for a match. I could be wrong as I never understood much detail about this feature.
  22. Thanks Tom!
  23. LOL. Only Brian would post something like that!
  24. No problem. Have fun!
