  1. Good deal! Have fun!
  2. LOL. The 2nd on you posted and the one I posted is the correct one. [ROMFILE] nor [ROM] incased in quotes will NOT work.
  3. Command line should be: emulator_multicpu.exe [ROM]
  4. What version of this emulator are you using? Also could be that you're not pointing to your rom directory in the EMULATOR.ini in the following section: ;Add your rom directories here (max 10) ;ROMS subdirectory in the same folder than the exe is always scanned when searching for roms ;(remove the; form Dir1) [RomDirs] ;Dir1=c:\Model2\roms

    Weird stuff!

You'll want to rebuild your roms to match the MAME version you're using. There are 2 tools available for this. Romcenter and Clrmame. Either will do the trick.
  6. It's possible but then would have to use an advanced config to watch the processes so that GameEx won't steel focus. It's best to use a script IMO. Either AHK or AutoIt will do just fine. The scripting language used in this example by Nologic is AutoIt.
  7. Here are the results I came up with while using search.
  8. Glad to see you scripting. Keep it up Tempest!
  9. Happy Birthday Flash!

    please help

Do you have your GamePad selected in the GamePad Device to use selection in the Input Settings section of setup?
  11. Change the path to where the files are being saved. It can be found in the CONFIG>PATHS section in ZSNES.
  12. Please post your log as it will give us more of an idea of what's going on. Can be found in the LOG directory of your GameEx install directory. The name of the file is log.txt.
  13. It's possible by either using hard links or scripting a wrapper to accomplish this. Hard links being the easier of the two if not familiar with scripting a wrapper.
  14. Yes I have one but one is really not needed. The reason I created it was cuz sometimes it errors out and resets the settings. The fix was for the user to set nulldc.cfg to read only. So it's not really required to get it to work correctly. But to answer the question about if the Naomi version works for nulldc, the answer is no. The Naomi version works for that specific emulator only.
  15. Very good find indeed. I would say it would be useful to some. Thanks bkenobi for the post!
  16. Happy Holidays to all of you!
  17. Can't test this myself since don't have this setup but try the following commandline: mess.exe coco3 -flop0 "[ROMPATH]\[ROMFILE]" -joy -now -nonewui
  18. Try adding the -mouse switch to MAME Options in GameEx's setup. Or you can always just set mouse=1 in the mame.ini file.
  19. I prefer the title as well. To me it just makes more sense.
  20. Thanks Tom! Great release. Works great! Happy Holidays to you as well.
  21. You always wanna build your set for the version you're using. Unfortunately there is no way of determining the version of ROMS you currently have unless you go through each executable and see which one it matches with. That could get ugly as there are so many releases. Clrmame does NOT tell you the version of ROMS you have. No program does that I'm aware of. But I could be wrong. I use Clrmame on a daily basis so I'm pretty familiar with it. Unless there's a setting that I just don't know about. But I've never known it do this.
  22. Thanks for the update Fyrecrypts! Keep up the good work!
  23. Running MAME 0.128u6. I would say maybe just missing out on some bug fixes and some more games. I guess the best thing to do is look at the release history and see what's new since the release you're currently using. That information can be found in the Previous Release section of the MAME site.
  24. Just to justify....I didn't mean me personally. LOL. I meant this is the way I'd go about it. But I'll help ya out if you run into a snag.
  25. I would definitely script this to give you the results you're after.
