  1. Nope, i actually disabled that feature.
  2. I've been trying to organize my Naomi and Atomiswave, and getting them working with Demul. I had everything working externally out of GameEX but when I tried to make sure it work in GameEX my selection list doesn't match my choice. But only on some, not all. So if I choice 18 Wheeler I get Alien something, but Marvel vs Capcon, I get Marvel vs Capcon. It's weird, any ideas? GameEx.ini log.txt MAP FILES.rar
  3. You are quite literally the first person I've "met" to have a WiiU... cool. I have always been a console gamer and a couple of years ago I finally went all out with my HomeTheater/Steam/GameEX PC and now I just have this xbox360 that plays Netflix very well. I was excited about the the new consoles, but in past generations, the Consoles would leap-frog the current PC gaming market, that isn't the case any more. with a wireless xbox controller receiver, a 3770K and upgrading to the 760 GTX, I feel as far as graphics and performance, I will be pretty equal with the next-gen consoles, and that's with using a processor and video card that could be considered mid-grade. Am I wrong?
  4. All I remeber from the first MGS was sitting in a box... I got to the second disc and never continued. My buddy had a PS3 so I bought the new one and got so frustrated with the install and the first level I just gave up on it... It was all about Chaos Theory and the A-symmetrical multiplayer. It was one of the first games to do that right. a Third-Person view spy with no lethal weapons, and a First-person Mercenary with guns an arsenal, and some how you where evenly matched. No better feeling watching a Merc. placing mines everywhere like crazy, and slowly walking up to them and disarming them, just to watch him go crazy and do it all over again. I was disappointed when I bought the PC version of Chaos Theory and it didn't have controller support. I'm a PC gamer now, but I use a controller.
  5. So Blacklist comes out a little less then a week from now, and I'm really excited. Most of the reviews dropped today, Rev3 giving it 4 out of 5, Polygon with an 8.5 and IGN at a 9.2. I liked the last one, but this seems to be coming back to Chaos Theory nostalgia. I'm flashing back to college where my dorm-mates and I would log into Spys vs. Mercs and play day and night over the schools network. So anyway, I just wondered if anyone here was getting ready for this game to drop? I'm ready to launch Steam Tuesday and maybe use some of those personal days, I've racked up. Hope to see you guys out there. Steam-name: NateMac00
  6. It's probably better to move it, I'm sure this conversation will continue for quite awhile.
  7. I would really ignore the ProRes4444 file, that is a very highend video editing format, I just threw it in there because I knew it could handle Alphas. That codec is mostly used for things shot on a RED camera and greenscreen. Very high bandwidth possibilities with that codec with a small video size compared to RAW video.
  8. I'm not able to render with the "Lagarith codec". I do all my design/3D work on a Mac and it doesn't seem as if their is a codec for Mac. So I'm SOL if we go the Lagarith route.
  9. The Codec used in the linked video was a QuickTime shell with a PNG codec. I added a the same option to the folder I linked ealier "PNG.mov"
  10. Has anyone tried using one of the 21:9 monitors for a pincab? It might be a little expensive right now, and I'd much rather have one of these on my desk but just curious. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824005396
  11. It has beautiful old photography. You can use the "Way Back Machine" and see what (for example) amazon.com looked like 10 years. Also what I mostly use it for, are live recordings of concerts. People will plug into the sound board at a show and then upload the lossless audio to the site. Great for indie bands.
  12. Does anyone have any info on this? For anyone that has never used archive.org before it is an amazing resource for old photos and music AND A LEGITIMATE RESOURCE SO DON'T DELETE MY POST PLEASE. "The Internet Archive, a 501©(3) non-profit, is building a digital library of Internet sites and other cultural artifacts in digital form. Like a paper library, we provide free access to researchers, historians, scholars, the print disabled, and the general public." Founded in 1996 and located in San Francisco, the Archive has been receiving data donations from Alexa Internet and others. In late 1999, the organization started to grow to include more well-rounded collections. Now the Internet Archive includes texts, audio, moving images, and software as well as archived web pages in our collections, and provides specialized services for adaptive reading and information access for the blind and other persons with disabilities. They are trying to make a modern Library of Alexandria. http://archive.org/details/messmame Has someone made a deal to allow these out to the masses? Update: Along with CHDs - http://archive.org/search.php?query=collection%3Amessmame&sort=-publicdate
  13. https://www.dropbox.com/sh/kvtn1ydlc5z83g7/dxLaEX2idJ Here is a link to an Animation & ProRes video along with a TIFF & PNG Sequence. Let me know if you have any luck.
  14. The only video formats that accepts alphas are AppleProRes4444 and Animation+ The stange thing about videos that use alpha is that they are more CPU hogs than GPU. I have rendering right now an Animation+ video and ProRes video along with a TIFF and PNG sequence. I guess you can give them all a try and see what works on your end. ProRes4444 should work on windows machines if you have the latest version of QuickTime installed
  15. I've completed a rather large list of systems, but I don't mind doing others if I have time. I only ask if their are others you would like, take some of the leg work out for me and send me a vector image(.eps or .ai) of the requested logo. I can take it from there. www.seeklogo.com & www.logoeps.com are two good places to start.
  16. absolutly! this would be great, I'll put together a few different versions using different codec to see what works best. To be honest though, the best way to accomplish this I would think, is an image sequence. If it was possible for GameEX to look for a folder called (for example) "Sega 32X" and understand the images inside that folder was a 24fps (or whatever we decide) image sequence. Kinda what the "Selection Bar" Animation is. I'll put some options together for you.
  17. I bought the Steam MK Arcade Kollection (1,2,U3) awhile back, I should get that downloaded and loaded up on GameEX. I'm in the same boat as KRC I bought the new MK on 360... I'm sure at some point the MKKE with go on sale and I'll pick it up AGAIN then... Although right now I'm running threw the TellTale Walking Dead game, very much point and click, but good store and kinda fun.
  18. You could always just open the theme in theme editor and set the theme to your desired resolution and manually move all the menus and image placements around. It's a little time consuming but if the author doesn't jump in, its defiantly a way you could go at it… although you might run into aspect ratio issues…hmm
  19. If you look at my setting I posted you can see I swapped the folders for Marquee and Title because I wanted the Title to show up in image2 rather then the marquee, that was my simple work around. I mean when you go to look at all the art pieces in GameEX UI those to images are flipped, but all I care about it flipping threw the names quick, and now you see a snap and a title screen rather then snap and a marquee
  20. Well ya got me there, I guess if I was going to do custom art I would want my custom art to appear when I was scrolling threw so i would just replace my art files with the ones that where in the Snap Folder, but that's just me. Never notice before either.
  21. So hey, this whole animated logo thing just might work. Take a look at the video links below. I tried to do a screen capture so you could see what it looked like, but the capture doesn't give it justice. It's all choppy and terrible looking. The real view is nice and smooth and loops very well. I still need to work on matching the background, but I didn't try to hard, just wanted to see if it would work at all. So we'll just call this a proof of concept. Screen Capture https://www.dropbox.com/s/rbwinlgsil6n2x3/Rec.mp4 Logo File https://www.dropbox.com/s/u8urmx2nb2p9az9/sega%20genesis.mp4
  22. Maybe I'm confused about your question, but all these options, you can change/make a custom path to any art folder.
  23. Bummer, I was hoping it was something to the fact that I could load a video with a separate alpha channel video and it would together as an Alpha Video File, oh well, Thank Tom!
  24. Can someone fill me in on what this does, and how you would use it? The support Page wasen't the most helpful. http://www.gameex.com/Support/SetupWizardconfigurationguide.aspx Alpha Blend Videos Alpha Blend Videos. Thanks.
  25. Full Camera animation along with Depth of Field and Motion Blur. Here is a video I did to show off the new "Motion Camera" in R14 http://444studio.com/blog/2012/8/22/cinema-4d-physical-camera-motion-camera-tag-in-depth-video.html
