  1. It wouldn't surprise me if that were an option in GameEX Evolution. And no, I don't know for sure that it will be. ;-)
  2. Security Problem in OpenSSL
  3. Try this map file. You may have to delete your .cache files to make it work. 2-Player Nintendo NES.zip
  4. I had (Past tense) XP running on my business computer. I woke up this morning to BSOD. Coincidence? I think not. It's not a big deal, I made an image when I built the machine, and my company file is backed up to my server. It's time to upgrade to Win7.
  5. If you are talking about your emu settings, you can export it to the C:\GameEx\CONFIG\EMULATORS\IMPORT-EXPORT folder with a new name, then import it in the setup wizard.
  6. Congrats Null, Well deserved. (See how easy it is to get your point across in just a few words?)
  7. I am testing this theory. I shall return.
  8. Try deleting your .cache files. and make sure to use: Name Of Game\Game|Name That I Want To Display in your map file. Do not include .iso. You would only need two entries in the map file to test. After trying to run a game post the contents of your runitgame.bat.
  9. I have given this more thought, and I really think that this should work. Let's think about this for a minute. Using the first line from the AAE.map file as an example: alienst|Aliens (Tempest Prototype) You pick 'Aliens (Tempest Prototype)' from the list of AAE games, and GameEx builds a command using alienst as the ROMFILE. A typical emulator setup uses "ROMPATH"/"ROMFILE" as the location of the rom. ROMFILE is the name of rom including extension, so you end up with MYDRIVE:\MYROMPATH\alienst.zip If we use the second suggestion I made above: D:\My Rom Folder\Name Of Game\Game.iso|Name That I Want To Display We can see that we are actually providing too much information. I think that you should use Name Of Game\Game|Name That I Want To Display in the map file. GameEx would replace 'Name That I Want To Display' which is the ROMFILE portion of the path with Name Of Game\Game Your command would include the standard path "ROMPATH"\"ROMFILE" and the result should be: D:\My Rom Folder\Name Of Game\Game.iso While testing this, turn on debug mode and you will see the commands that are being sent from GameEX. You may need to make adjustments if part of the path is missing, or duplicated. I really want to see you get this working.
  10. Sorry, I was really hoping that would help.
  11. I have never tried it, but I'm sure that I read somewhere that you can use the full path in a mapfile. Name That I Want To Display|D:\My Rom Folder\Name Of Game\Game.iso Edit: I think that is backwards, it should be: D:\My Rom Folder\Name Of Game\Game.iso|Name That I Want To Display If it works at all....
  12. What about using .lnk to your files?
  13. Can I assume that it works correctly?
  14. If there isn't a file in your current theme, then GameEx uses the one in Default-Default.
  15. I found a newer version on my computer. For whatever reason I never updated the map file post with the latest version. I did test it and it seems to work with your settings. Let me know if it works for you. Map File Magician 1.04.exe.7z
  16. Are you kidding? I work for peanuts.
  17. [link_open=http://www.gameex.info/forums/topic/14405-bbcode-open-links-in-new-tab-or-window/#entry120891]Doesn't this work?[/link_open]Edit: I guess not.
  18. Have a peanut.
  19. Would you please post a screenshot of the map magician so I can see what your settings are? You can click on 'More Reply Options' , and then attach the pic to your post.
  20. You are just running around break all of my stuff, aren't you. I will take a look tonight after work.
  21. If it helps, I've seen that too. Of course I can't remember where either...
  22. Yeah, Wow!
  23. It happens to all of us sooner or later. Happy gaming!
  24. I thought it was open to the UK only.
  25. Those were my thoughts too Tom, that's why I asked for the files. We have been pushing to get the users to post files relative to there questions as it keeps us from guessing, saves time if they post them up front without us having to ask, and is just good practice to provide all of the necessary information if you want good support. Of the emulator configs that are posted, all but one are using an advanced config. Unfortunately Unforgiven II did not post the advanced configs as previously requested by myself. UNFORGIVEN II - If you see where we are going with this, maybe you can figure it out on your own. If not, please post the Advanced configs [Mapping On] Exit nullDC (Process Close) and [Mapping Off] Exit (Process Close). You can find them in: GameEx\CONFIG\EMULATORS
