I created a Trials 2 wrapper for you anyway at least it will let you see how to click incase you need it for Final Fantasy
-
Here's 16600 - Trials 2 Second EditionThis wrapper will get you in game but you will still require a mouse to click through the in game menus to start playing 16600 - Trials 2 Second Edition.zip
-
Actually I just realized I do have Trials 2 but that's a slightly trickier cookie. It requires a mouse click to click start, you can't use the keyboard.. which is doable but I'm wondering what the the point is as once you get in the game you still require the mouse to click through the menu to start playing. The game doesn't support keyboard or joysticks to control the interface. So if you are going to have to reach for your mouse anyway then your might as well just click start as well.

I have Alien Versus Predator so I created a wrapper for you in the Wrappers thread It a pretty easy one that hopefully you can modify to work with the other 2 games that I don't have. It just looks for the window title 'Alien vs. Predator - Steam' and sends the 'Enter' key The other 2 included wrappers will send the 'Down' arrow once or twice to select either directx modes before sending the 'Enter' key
-
I'm having issues with the FTP again.. I'll try again later from a different PC. Here's a wrapper for: Alien Vs Predator (2010)There are 3 wrappers here, the default will just launch the "Play Alien vs. Predator" option The other 2 will select either the directx 11 or 9 option. If you need to use the either of these then remove the trialing _dx9 or _dx11 from the exe file name 10680 - Alien Vs Predator.zip
-
Sorry I'm only getting around to trying this now. Thanks Headkaze that sorted it
-
No problem, here you go PluginLCD.zip
-
Off course not, why would I try something as obvious as that Thanks Tempest that's it sorted, I assumed that the plugin grabbed all that info from GameEx, I never noticed that section of the config. @Headkaze - there's something up with the new dll. I'm struggling to describe what it's doing. Some games show no buttons defined and others show a mix of buttons. If I select a game that it thinks has 3 buttons assigned then click a game that previously had no buttons assigned then the no button game will show the same buttons as the 3 button game. The labels don't appear to be getting read or the colors in the new version either. I've attached a few screen shots showing the difference between the 2 dlls. The old version seems to be working fine anyway so no panic but if you want me to do any testing then let me know Thanks Stu

I've been neglecting my Arcade for a while now but recently started doing some spring autumn cleaner. I've moved a few folders about and updated some game collections. I updated MAME to 150 but now LCD/LED Plugin isn't working with MAME games. It's still working fine with my other emulators that I manually setup colours for but it seems it either isn't reading the game names from the latest MAME or it's not finding them in the colors.ini or nplayers.ini When I go into the profile editor it only lists 'Default' in the game list for MAME, I could've swore in the past that this used to list every game so you could modify the colours but can't remember for sure. Any suggestions as to where to start looking? I'm not sure this is definitely a MAME issue as in my cleanup I reorganized my folder structure. My previous layout was: Root\System\Roms so it was E:\Mame\Roms My new layout is: Root\Emulators\System Root\Roms\System So in the new system the MAME roms are in a completely different location that the exe e.g. E:\Emulators\MAME\mame64.exe E:\Roms\Mame I don't think this should affect the plugin as MAME is working fine through GameEx but thought it was worth mentioning. The other change I've made is I've moved my GameEx installation folder from E:\GameEx to E:\Emulators\GameEx I re-installed GameEx pointing to the new path and everything else is working fine it's just this plugin is giving me trouble. Thanks Stu

I played quite a bit the first night and a wee bit more the second night but it isn't grabbing me. My problem with Battlefield is you can't just pick it up and play for a hour here and there you have to devote your life to it or else you just get completely destroyed. I'm too out of practice now to be any good and I can't be bothered devoting my time to getting good again. I was hoping the new release would give me the enthusiasm to get back into playing it again but nothing much has changed, it didn't really feel like a real advancement over BF3. I'm gonna give this one a miss. I didn't bother with COD last year might go back to that franchise for a year, take it turn about instead of buying every new release just get every other years release.

I've just noticed the Download Service Utility struggles to match files with hyphen's. In my GameCube collection I have 18 Wheeler American Pro Trucker (USA)On the EmuMovies FTP I can see there is a 18 Wheeler - American Pro Trucker (USA).mp4but Download Service Utility doesn't manage to match these two files. Same goes for Army Men Air Combat - The Elite Missions (USA)Army Men RTS (USA)Beach Spikers (USA)Beyblade Super Tournament Battle (USA)Bust a Move 3000 (USA)Cabela's Big Game Hunter 2005 Adventures (USA)Capcom vs. SNK 2 - Mark of the Millennium (USA)on the FTP there are Army Men - Air Combat - The Elite Missions (USA).mp4Army Men - RTS (USA).mp4Beach Spikers - Virtua Beach Volleyball (USA).mp4Beyblade VForce - Super Tournament Battle (USA).mp4Bust-A-Move 3000 (USA).mp4Cabela's Big Game Hunter - 2005 Adventures (USA).mp4Capcom vs. SNK 2 EO - Millionaire Fighting 2001 (USA).mp4but Download Service Utility misses these

The first post by Tom is the change log for this release "Big Plugin update thanks to Adultery. Also special thanks to Stu." The Plugin that was updated is Adultery's Virtual Drive Loader, it now supports roms in subfolders

Have we any Battlefield players on the forum? I play from time to time myself, though haven't had much time lately. Battlefield 4 Beta out tomorrow it would be nice to see a few familiar names. My Origin username is Stu221983 if you want to add me.
-
Thanks guys My wife treated me to the GT Omega Racing Cockpit Only have it setup with the PS3 for now but can't wait to get so PC racers and some arcade games running on it
-
Sorry Tom, it's working now and I've added the wrapper. Must have been something wrong with my connection in work today but its working fine at home
-
I'll send him a PM, I thought he wanted them on the FTP so they could be auto downloaded with the GameEX install rather than him having to add them
-
Tried adding this to the FTP but it doesn't accept the user name and password anymore 220780 - Thomas Was Alone220780 - Thomas Was Alone.zip

that's it working now, thanks for your quick updates.

No it's a bug. Die Hard is only in the USA folder. I actually only have 20 or so games in the EURO folder. I just keep a few Saturn games that don't exist in the USA or the EURO version was better like Bomberman

Hate to be the bringer of bad news but I'm afraid the roms in subfolder isn't working. I tested with Die Hard Arcade which is in the USA folder but your plugin has picked the EURO folder 24/09/2013 20:30:53 : Virtual Drive Loader (Version: 1.0.8)24/09/2013 20:30:53 : 13.16 INITIALIZED OK!: GameEx24/09/2013 20:30:53 : LOAD XML: E:\GameEx\PLUGINS\DT Loader\Settings.xml24/09/2013 20:30:53 : XML: XML file was loaded OK!24/09/2013 20:30:53 : RESULT: XML(EXE_PATH) - C:\Program Files (x86)\DAEMON Tools Lite\DTLite.exe24/09/2013 20:30:53 : INIT PLUGIN: Initialization completed!24/09/2013 20:31:32 : CL IN: ssf.exe [dtloader]24/09/2013 20:31:32 : Command switch detected! What I'm trying to say is I have no idea what the "MOUNT COMMAND" box is for but what I have noticed is that if you type something into it and press "SAVE" it doesn't save. Maybe this isn't a bug but seems strange to have a text box but not accept any input maybe it should be disabled if that's the case. When I first ran the plugin I had no idea what to do as I didn't see any way to tell GameEx to use the plugin for a particular system, I had to search the forum to find the answer so I think you should have an example on the plugin config screen itself. As for the roms in folders I wouldn't waste any time on it. I don't think its an issue you can do anything about. Tom needs to send you the full path to the ROM being loaded not "ROM FOLDER" + "ROM NAME" as this is leaving out the subfolder. Unless Tom already passes this information, it's been that long since I created a plugin for GameEx that I can't remember. I assume he doesn't though as his own virtual drive implementation seems to be using "ROM FOLDER" + "ROM NAME" instead the full path. Stu
