  1. Adultery, my dear boy. Arcade cabs are meant to be big, black, ugly and reek of the 80s (read: sweat, hairspray and Boss aftershave). Also, they are not meant to be sold by someone who looks and sounds like a used car salesman.
  2. Pah. Keep these capitalising parasites off our hobby. Go big or go home.... 4ft? 3 games? Rubbish.

    Respect

That's the British on a good day.
  4. Have you just built that in your house?
  5. Awesome work Hans. As ever, your text is a little tl;dr for me (please don't take offence) but love the work you done here. Especially like the 3D printing on the ports openings. For me, these conversions are all about how you integrate modern ports into old system cases - the less intrusive and more integrative the better. Just done a new one myself here, and produced a pcb which plugs into the Pi ports as a 'breakout' allowing you to just buy some quality usb cable (i.e. 22AWG for the power lines) and solder it on, rather than buying and butchering existing (and expensive!) top quality cables. Attached. Great work - hope you go left-field next time and put a Pi in something funky! PiUSB2_V1.2.pdf PiUSB2_stop.pdf
  6. Me too. Couldn't be entrusting my home LAN to wireless now! I ran Cat6 all around the house when I first bought it. So glad I did...
  7. btw - how's the latency and overhead on these things? Gonna install it on my cab.
  8. Yeah - mine too!
  9. Where's the dancemat?
  10. Bit off topic - can you adjust all these setting in the mame GUI? If not, this system is gagging to a GUI.
  11. Just wow. I wish there was a way to 'favourite' on these forums as I know I'm going to have to come back to this a few months down the line, but also that I'll have no idea where it is!
  12. funky - looks super authentic
  13. screenshots or it didn't happen. :p
  14. Oh no - please don't expect the UK to show any sense at the moment - the country's as mad as a box of frogs.
  15. We're still making plans over here on how to own y'all again.
  16. Salmon.
  17. Salmon.
  18. Who sent you my baby photos?
  19. That was a great spot, T. I had the path with spaces and the amended path with underscores. Changed it to just the operational path with underscores. Still no joy. Interestingly, following A's query, tried running runitgame.bat. When launched individually, it doesn't launch the game. However, if I follow its component lines in cmd prompt it does. This is annoying... Here's runitgame.bat: ideas? log.txt
  20. thanks a. t - yes, yes and yes!
  21. thanks A. yeah, tom did switch to slimdx recently.
  22. yuck - that sounds horrible. Where the hell do I start with the differential diagnostics? I've also wondered whether it's one of my plugins with a memory leak (although I don't really know what that it) - would that cause this error?
  23. Sorry chaps - think I've taken my own thread off track! Any ideas on the above. Files here:
  24. Thanks RedDog - can you recommend any RAM testing software? Is it mainly that RAMTest (or whatever it's called) that you run in the DOS environment prior to windows? @Tom Speirs, @headkaze, @Adultery - dunno if you guys need to know - think this is you guys' plugins + Tom - know we had issues with my plugins recently - wonder if related to same issue? Cheers chaps
