  1. I had to reload my OS (win7) on my pinball cab and it surprisingly went pretty smooth. All of my pinball files were on D: which always gets backed up, so other then the OS, .NET 4.0, directx, etc the reload went smooth. The one thing that I'm missing is, I thought I had my start/exit/buyin/plunger buttons lit while playing a Pinball FX2 table. Of course I never documented this part so not sure how I had it configured. Z
  2. I'm running both my test machine and cab on Win7/PBX and have not seen either of the above issues. You don't really give us a lot to go on, and I'm almost certain at this point in time, the PBX user base is greater then HP. (Note this is not knocking HP, I used it for quite sometime, but it just wasn't being developed) Now since you stated you reinstalled Win7 I'm assuming it was a fresh install. Did you disable the Win7 UAC? Did you set the VPinball.exe and PinballX.exe to run as admin? Disable aero? If you're that set with HP, load it up and get it working, then follow the PBX user guide. I wrote it when I was using HP and PBX. It's packed with examples of how to run HP and PBX at the same time without screwing up VP/FP. Z
  3. Hmmm, couple thing to try: - Is your vpinballx.exe set to run as admin. - When it's sitting at the load screen can you alt-tab to see if there is an error behind the load screen - Is your .xml file correct Z
  4. Outhere, What exactly is the problem? Does the table not launch? Can you launch the table outside of PBX? I setup VPX in about 5 minutes on my test rig with the Papa Smurf table. I placed the table and the new vbs scripts in my x:\Vpinball\tables folder and the vpinballx in my x:\vpinball folder. I then added VPX as a custom system: [system_11] Name=VPinball 10 WorkingPath=F:\VPinball TablePath=F:\VPinball\Tables Executable=VPinballX.exe Parameters=/play -"[TABLEPATH]\[TABLEFILE]" LaunchAfterWorkingPath= LaunchAfterExecutable= Enabled=True SystemType=1 LaunchBeforeWorkingPath= LaunchBeforeExecutable= LaunchBeforeParameters= LaunchBeforeEnabled=False LaunchAfterEnabled=False and lastly created an x:\pinballx\databases\VPinball 10\VPinball 10.xml Z
  5. Updated to match new options from 1.90/1.91/1.92/1.93 and new .xml/ahk scripts for Pinball FX2. Updated to match new options in 1.96/1.97. Z PinballX_S2F_Documentation rev 1.3.pdf

    company logo

Not sure I follow the original question...is this in portrait or landscape? I'm on my test machine (landscape) and see the company logo when I have just the XML name without a wheel image. Can you provide a screenshot? Z
  7. Thanks guys!!!!!! Z
  8. I've noticed the startup time was a lot longer, when I turned on the new features. Z
  9. I'll try to rev this up to v1.91 by weeks end...... PinballX_S2F_Documentation rev 1.1.pdf
  10. It's actually in the PinballX Guide. You can group by visual pinball future pinball, your top 10, your top 20, etc. Z
  11. Updated to fall inline with PinballX ver 1.89. Edit: Uh-oh for some reason I can't upload anything larger then 6.84MB, the new file is 12MB. Tom and company any way to increase my capacity? I tried deleting some of the old versions in this thread, but it still gives me a max of 6.84MB. Z
  12. Do you have desktop mode off in your PBX settings? Z
  13. Doesn't anyone at Zen look this over before adding new tables....at least for me TWD is now the first table and the cursor starts at the soccer table....previous updates the cursor starts in the upper left...anyway here is the new script with TWD.
  14. So PBX only starts with wheel and playfield images, no tables or ROMs. Vpforums.org has the tables and ROMs for download for VP. Z
  15. Real DMD (Vishay Plasma), Unified v1.91 cabinet mode This should be an easy one. Everything works when you go into PBX the first time, tables defined to play ROM videos work...tables defined to play Real DMD videos work. When you exit a table, all the tables default to Real DMD videos, even if a ROM video is defined. Starting up PBX for the first time follows this: 1) Do you have the ROM switch on in GM, if so use the vpinmame ROM 2) Do you have a custom DMD video, if so use that. 3) Lastly, if nothing use the generic PBX DMD video. If you play a table, and exit back to PBX: 1) Do you have a custom DMD video, if so use that. <--- regardless if you have a ROM defined 2) Lastly, if nothing use the generic PBX DMD video. Z
  16. I haven't seen PBX crash, but if I switch tables the next table has no sound. Looking in VPM the sound option gets checked off. I can reproduce it every time. Z
  17. Same issue here, once you hit a game assigned ROM, the real DMD videos stop and only the game assigned ROMs work. Win 7 64 bit, VPM 1.9, Vishay plasma DMD
  18. http://www.gameex.info/forums/topic/14252-not-all-additional-details-showing/?hl=desktop :) Found it.... Z
  19. I think this was discussed in a previous post. Due to the lack of space in desktop mode the additional details are not present. If it's a feature you would like to see, post in the features and enhancements thread. Z
  20. Yes, a Vishay DMD. It works...it just does the ROM's or the DMD videos, so if I turn on this new feature, only the tables that I link a ROM to in GM display something on the DMD, the rest are a blank DMD. Z
  21. Setup was easy enough but I noticed you can only have one or the other. For example, if I just want to turn on the new ROM feature for 3 tables, it turns the videos off on all the other tables. I think it should check in this order: 1) Do you have the ROM switch on in GM, if so use the vpinmame ROM 2) Do you have a custom DMD video, if so use that. 3) Lastly, if nothing use the generic PBX DMD video. Running Windows 7 64 bit also. Z
  22. Updated to include new options in 1.85 (Real DMD support) and how to add multiple versions of VP. Z As always I try to double check for accuracy, so if you see anything misspelled, not sounding right, or out of place please let me know (no matter how small).
  23. Simple request (unless it was taken out for a reason).......in older versions there were line spaces between each category in the pinballx.ini file. For those of us that liked to edit the file manually, it's a little rough now that it's all clumped together with no breaks. Z
