For testing purposes I've converted the two video files to MP4 having used Spesoft Video Converter. Again, the video files play OK on their own but don't show up in GameEx. If it's anything with the codec how do I solve this ....? Config files added GameEx.ini log.txt -

GimmeClassics replied to GimmeClassics's topic in General
Hi NP, The gameplay video is not showing for either game. I've also tried Space Invaders HD theme and the defaul/default theme. Same issue. See screenshot below. I've also posted my config files using the default/default theme. I wonder what seems to be the problem ? GameEx.ini log.txt Theme.ini -
[RESOLVED] GameEx doesn't show Steam gameplay video
GimmeClassics replied to GimmeClassics's topic in General
Hi NP, thank you for your quick response. At my first try I ran Steam as a standalone emulator. I couldn't get that to work so I unchecked this using the Setup Wizard. At my second try (see my config files in my post #1) I was using the standalone Steam integration shown in the link you shared but GameEx is still not showing the gameplay video. -
I have a question about integrating Steam with GameEx. Everything works for me except GameEx is not showing a gameplay video in the 2 screens below. The videos are present in GameEx > Media > Steam > Video Does anyone know how I can solve this ? screen 1 screen 2 GameEx.ini log.txt Theme.ini

Hello fellow GameExers, Steam often introduces nice games which are perfect to add to your Arcade HDTV or Cabinet setup and play through GameEx ! So I thought it would be nice to start a thread where everybody who finds a nice game on Steam shares this with our GameEx community I think arcade style platform games, pinball games and any games which can be played with a gamepad are perfect for an arcade setup. Games which can only be played using a mouse but have an arcade style gameplay may however also fit the bill. It can be any game you can come up with...all suggestions are welcome So feel free to share any of your steam game suggestions...

I had a really good time. Thank you buddy I uploaded a few photo's from my holiday in Portugal. If you're interested here's the link Your new look is perfect for a HDTV setup. I think it's perfect readable when you're further away from your playscreen. So I will definitely use it in on my (yet to create) HDTV setup. Nice to hear you will maybe revisit the old layout I fully understand you prefer to use a format which allows you to easily create all the different layout screens of your theme. I have created a few websites and I always use a format for creating my html-pages and CSS layout. Again I'm looking forward to your completed GameroomEX theme for my HDTV setup. When you would decide to also revit your old layout I think this will be a theme which I will definitely use on my - yet to build - arcade cabinet Thanks Krak !

Nice score be77amy ! I like a challenge I'll start practicing again Updated OP, DB, LB

Hi Krak ! I've been on a holiday (to Portugal) so I wasn't able to post for a while. You're doing an amazing job with this theme. I'm really excited to use this on my setup when it's finished ! Great artwork Keep up the good work
