One last thing: as you probably already know you can compete for your position at our All-Time Leaderboard ! No problem buddy ! It's just how we've setup this competition. We assume that all participating will be honorable and play with no cheats or hacks or more than 1 credit. The only thing we ask of our hi-score members is to use the correct game settings and post a screenshot of their hi-score. In the end there is no way to check if any hi-score is 100% legit. We just assume it is because we completely trust the members of our GameEx community . It's a friendly competition we've setup and it's all about offering a platform to keep these classic games alive and having fun playing these games and competing against other GameEx friends I'm glad you've joined our competition You have already submitted quite a few hi-scores. I got to pretty much the end of level 2 with my run of 3,873,690. You just have to use your secondary weapon wisely and collect as much treasures as you can get It's a fun game to play ! I'll definitely play this again

Great to see a new Nitro Ball hi- score I really enjoy playing this game. A lot of things happening at once. I already knew this since I've recently become a member of the Atariage forum which also has a nice hi-score community;) But thanks anyway Krak for letting us know I am interested and I will definitely join their club. I still hope we will get a little more active participation at our own GameEx Hi-Score Competition I'd love to hear if somebody has ideas to improve our competition and attracting more members

Is this still up-to-date ? I'm working on installing other emulators (besides Mame) as part of my GameEx setup so I would very much like to know which emulator is the best for each system Any thoughts ?

It took me some time to find this out --> For those playing with a keyboard: when you want to confirm your initials at the Q*Bert in-game high score table you have to use the start / no. "1" key on your keyboard Good luck submitting your Q*Bert's hi-scores

Thank you for sharing your gameplay strategy These are really good tips ! I actually used the same strategy with my 100K + score. This should really help a lot of us improving our scores. Please join us and start spraying yourself to the top Thanks be77amy !

@Han: I think it's a fair judgement and we should probably rule out these games to become Game of the Month. We could maybe add these games as regulars. However I would also like to see active participation at each of our regular hi-score games since all of our games count for the All Time Leaderboard. We could maybe (now or in the near future) create a poll to ask how many would like to play these type of games and of course submit their hi-scores to our competition If there are many interested in these type of games we will of course take this seriously and add these games as regulars to our competition. @ Adultery: I don't want to rule them out completely. Like I said to Han: if there are many interested in playing and submitting hi-score for these type of games we will of course take this seriously and add these games as regulars to our competition. That's OK, because no one is perfect, and you don't have to be perfect to win this game. I've just bought Spelunky. I haven't tried Rogue Legacy yet but it's recommended by a lot...
