@ ehuonder > nice improvement !! The big sprayer will only show up when you lose a life. When I lose a life I usually pick up the big sprayer at the very end of the level when Donkey Kong is near the top of the ceiling. This way you can spray Donkey Kong quickly to the top and still have some left at the beginning of the next level. This really works for me Good luck improving your score @ wolfman > nice score !! Hi wolfman: you can play Q-bert at default settings (see post #1) > you don't have to change / switch the dip switches Some of our other hi-score games do require you to change some settings. We're are following the Twin Galaxies settings for each game. Just see post #1 of each hi-score game thread to see which dip switch settings you have to use

Hello wolfman24 ! First of all, welcome to the GameEx Community You're more than welcome to join our Hi-Score Competition You have to use M.A.M.E. to play our hi-score games. GameEx is the frontend you can choose to run M.A.M.E. with but isn't necessary to join our Competition. GameEx is however great to use as a frontend to play your M.A.M.E.-games, so my advice > post a new topic at the General forum and ask for help with your miscrosoft.net 2 problem. You'll get an extra live at 8k and each additional 14k. So you get a free Q*Bert at 8k, 22k, 36k, 50k etc. Nice score rtkiii ! 111k seems to be very tough to beat. However, if you play a game a little longer you'll learn the game mechanics. It's a challenge nevertheless I was able to improve my score a little. You're absolutely right I would never want to go to the extremes Twin Galaxies do to verify scores. Our competition is based upon trusting each other and enjoy a friendly competition which allows to enjoy and play these great classics
