  2. {DECOMISSIONED} GameExLaunch 1.0.5 What is it? A simple EXE that is made to be launched instead of GameEx.exe on startup for folks that don't use Instant Sheller and still use their dedicated gaming machine as a PC from time to time. This EXE is for registered users because the registry path of GameEx is needed for it to function properly, and GameEx only writes these values when you register. How do I use it? Click on the EXE or set it to launch on startup. WINDOWS 7 USERS: Couldn't be easier to get it going! Simply make a shortcut to GameExLaunch and drop it in the START>Startup folder and the EXE will launch after Windows boots up. You can also specify command-line arguments like so: GameExLaunch.exe -timer 60 -login -Timer {value} Set the value to whatever you'd like for the timer to be in seconds. -Login Launch GameEx in Login Mode. -Lite Launch GameEx in Lite Mode. -Reset Rest all user-defined settings back to their original state. What does it do? The EXE launches GameEx after a user defined number of seconds or if ENTER is pressed, or aborts if CANCEL or ESCAPE are pressed. You can also quickly launch in GameEx Login mode or GameEx Lite, or many of the setup utilities included in GameEx (ie Setup Wizard, Plugin Manager, Log Viewer, Weather Select, and the Artwork Download Utility) and returns you to normal launching procedure afterwards. There is also a pause button if you have an update or your system is slower than normal to load. Wow that's super easy! What if I find a bug? Report it here! Any questions? Ask away. Feel free to offer suggestions on how I can make it better. NOTES: I whipped this up in about an hour, but it does what it needs to as well as I could ask for. GameEx's install location is picked up from the registry so no settings are currently needed (other than the timer, which defaults to 30 seconds). You may need to add this to your antivirus software's "safe" list (Avast always tried to open mine in sandbox mode, damn them!). I think that's about it. CHANGELOG:

  4. Hello all! Ive finally gotten around to uploading some new pictures of my newest build. I need to take much better pictures and such, but people have been giving me so much help here i thought it would be nice to show them its actually going into a nice product!. This is being built for my friend as hes a huge arcade fan, and me as a hobbyist told him id gladly take on the project for free and have him just pay for parts and materials. The artwork and all are inspired by his ideas, and i just went to town with the custom art. All the art is covered in lexan, with aluminum edging. I made the back bottom flip open like a door to access anything. Pc is mounted inside the cp and i shall upload pictures of that as well, along with full details of pc specs and everything else. As i said i just wanted to show everyone whos been helping me what their help has achieved so far! Be back tonight with better pictures and a much better write up.

  7. I got a MayFlash Dolphin Bar for Christmas yesterday (Merry belated Christmas!) and I just wanted to let you guys know this thing rocks. I can connect my Wiimotes to my PC with the push of "A" button as well as use all my Wiimotes/nunchuck/classic controllers as DInput devices including mouse(Lightgun)/keyboard emulation. The only thing I tried that doesn't work is my Les Paul Wii Guitar at least in DInput mode. I can use it in Dolphin perfectly fine. Compared to just using a regular bluetooth dongle this thing is magic especially if you use Dolphin a lot or want to use your wiimote as an inexpensive lightgun. For 18 bucks you cant go wrong either. Also, I emailed the contact support on Mayflash's website asking them to include support for the Wii Guitar/Drumset to have DInput support so you can play the PC versions or Rock Band/Guitar Hero/Frets on Fire with your Wii Guitar or Drumset and they responded very quickly saying that they'd try and add that support in a firmware update.

  11. UPDATE: I am launching in the next few days. I'm just finalizing the last few features like "block key" for you (Chosen_s) and a LaunchBefore and LaunchAfter feature for people wanting to use LEDWiz. BTW: Both of those features will be added to the next release of the PinballFX2 NukeLauncher as well. Please be patient with me, My Wife has terminal brain cancer (glioblastoma astrocytoma Grade 3-4) and she is already past the 24 months that she was expected to live. Some days I plain on working on this stuff, (which I love to do) but she needs me more, so I choose her over pinball stuff. I only mention this so you guy know why I may be missing from the forums for a whole week at a time or miss a deadline I set for finishing a project like this one. We have many medical appointment / scans / chemo / blood tests every week for the rest of her life, it's quite a juggling act. It's coming very soon and I hope it breaths new life into Pinball Arcade for all of you (I know I love it 10X more now that I have it setup in PinballX) and maybe we can get the guys over at Farsight Studios thinking more like the guys over at Zen Studios and give us DMD/Cabinet support. 12. Feature request: There's a dedicated button to show the instruction card when in the PinballX menu. Could a similar dedicated button be assigned for displaying the flyer on the playfield monitor while in the menu?

  13. As mentioned in another Thread: Display of the Instruction Card and/or Flyer instead of the Loading screen So there would be an individual Loading Screen for each table
