  1. UPDATE - I have decided to dedicate the M.2 drive for the latest Bazzite Deck version. But as I want to get this build FINALLY over the finish line and functional in the living room with minimal maintenance, I will be removing the janky thermal pad from the APU and replacing it with a PTM-7950. I will also replace the pads on the VRMs with Upsiren thermal paste. Stay tuned...
  2. I am looking at adding a budget AM4 DDR54-based CPU/motherboard combo so I will have a rig for testing newer GPUs, RAM, etc.
  3. I don't know if you mean to or not, but the tone of your responses comes across as if you don't feel that Tom (and the rest of the team) is doing enough to try to fix this issue to meet your expectations. I hope that I am wrong and misreading the intent of your posts. Scutters is correct. PBXRecorder was created by gtxjoe as a community tool, not Tom, and is not a core PinballX feature. Its last published version (1.6) dates back to 2017, and there has been no active development or compatibility updates for modern VPX, B2S, or Windows changes. PBXRecorder is not part of PinballX development and receives no fixes or compatibility patches. Scutters provided an alternative solution and it may be worth your while to give it a try.
  4. Yup! It's a Linux distro, based upon Debian if I am not mistaken. But wait! There's more! Introducing, The Commodore 64 Ultimate!
  5. Commodore OS Vision 3.1 - have you seen it?
  6. Added some ABS fan guards to protect my shakey fingers from the whirring blades of digit evisceration!
  7. If only I had the room... and the money!
  8. Thanks! When not in use, I will probably source a dust cover from the kitchen appliance section for when it is not in use.
  9. Open Test Bench Build Core Hardware Intel® Core i7‑3770 (Ivy Bridge) – LGA1155 Asus P8Z77‑V LK – ATX G.Skill Ripjaws‑X 16GB (2×8GB) DDR3‑1600 – F3‑1600C9D‑16GXM Samsung 840 EVO 500GB SSD – SATA III MSI Radeon RX 550 AERO ITX 2G OC – PCIe 3.0 TP‑Link TL‑WDN4800 N900 Dual‑Band PCIe WiFi Adapter Power Corsair RM850 (Model RPS0020) – 850W Modular ATX PSU Case / Test Bench DALAIBUKESI DIY Aluminum Open‑Frame Test Bench – ATX ORICO 2.5"‑to‑3.5" SATA Drive Bay Adapter – 1125SS‑2 Universal Radiator Mount Bracket (120mm / 240mm / 360mm) Cooling & Lighting Thermaltake 120mm Non‑Addressable RGB Fans ×3 Thermaltake 12V RGB + Fan Hub ________________________________________________________ I am using some parts from other builds to create my Open Test Bench Build. This will allow me to quickly test GPUs, fans, SSDs, etc. The 2.5"‑to‑3.5" SATA Drive Bay Adapter allows for quick swap of 2.5" SSDs and HDDs - no screws required! The Radiator Mount Bracket allows for attaching the case fans which are connected to SATA power. While these will run with no fan controls from the motherboard, this arrangement takes a fan header cable out of the mix, simplifying cable management. Fan speeds at max will help with GPU cooling during stress tests. The Thermaltake 12V RGB + Fan Hub is connected to the Test Bench reset button to cycle RGB color and RGB on/off. In addition to minimizing cable management, the Corsair RM850 850W Modular ATX PSU will allow me to add/remove PCIe power cables as needed, depending on the GPU's requirements, while providing more than enough power overhead.
  10. Thanks, @tabascoman77for yet another guide! Moving to the "FAQs, Guides, & Other Useful Information" for posterity!
  11. I don't dare entertain the idea of trying one again. It would be like I never stopped and I wouldn't.
  12. Sourced and uploaded to FTP 72 more. That will be it for me for a while!
  13. So is this fixed? What was the final, working command line? Also, the XML should probably be named ScummVM.XML to avoid confusion with the game names - I know. The name doesn't really matter, but in naming for all other systems, the system name has been the emulator name. And my CDO says so.
  14. With the correct parameters in the Emulator (Other System) slot and configuration of your setup it shouldn't be needed. PinballX will read your ScummVM.xml file and pass it along. Have you loaded any games into Game Manager to create the XML file?
  15. Glad you got it sorted and all working well! Thanks for reporting back!
