Sorry to be the ANNOYING one again, I did the tests with Windows 10 and PinballX 6.87 but Pinball FX3 stopped working the button to exit any table (I already modified it and put another option but without results) 35% of the Future Pinball tables do not open black screen and returns to PinballX, here I configured Pinball Wicked with the rear mirror (scoreboard) that cost me but with your help I did it, once Pinball Wicked was finished I did the same with Pinball HD Collection where I configured it with W10 and latest updates and PinballX configured Pinball HD and its scoreboard appears for each table without problem. The monitor resolutions are the same: Tables 1440 x 900 and Backglass 1024 x 768. My despair came when, with the same files copied and pasted to the other HDD, pinballX opens, you select the table, but the scoreboard mirror does not appear on monitor 2. The files are the same and the same PC, only the hard drive is changed.
I am attaching the log.ini of both files and pinballX.ini. I think that with that you could tell me what I am doing wrong.
Thank you very much for your patience with me.

try adding "/STAYINRAM" parameter for your future pinball system

I still tested my version of Pinball FX3 with latest FX3 and my exit button still works
Try testing FX3 without the launcher, so you just launch steam.exe with the correct parameters (Without the -offline as wel)

And please, try to split issues. We can't help you if you have multiple issues in 1 thread. That will makes it over complexed

@Mike_da_Spike do you think that is the issue? Maybe he needs to download and install the latest PinballX version "over the top" of the copied install to correctly apply whatever Windows needs in the other build within the registry?

I haven't purchased Pinball HD, so I don't know. But copying files from PC A to B can result in different results. Settings can be stored in the registry or in %appdata%. Two systems also have different monitor IDs.

I don't believe PinballX is the problem. While I'd like to playfully blame Tom, I don't think PinballX is causing any system malfunctions. (That was a joke about Tom; the rest is serious.)

I think it was mentioned somewhere in the PinballX documentation that if you add a system with direct table launch, it needs to work outside PinballX as well. That's not only for direct table launch but also for second monitor and/or DMD support.

I should say that the issues should be split, then investigate the issues one by one, but also split those issues into chunks. For example, if PinballM is loaded through a launcher and all is working except player 2 shows the DMD shrieked, try doing it without the launcher (and lastly, without PinballX). Just see which step is causing the issue.

Also, check if you do not have an app running as administrator. If you need to run a game as administrator, but PinballX isn't, that could also cause issues (exiting, running the before and after scripts).

But to answer your question, @Draco1962, I don't know 😁. I don't have a clear view of what is causing what.

@DakotaPinball There is a lot going on here, so I split your threads from the other user's thread so that he gets the attention he needs.

Please download the latest PinballX version and install it on top of the new system you mentioned.

Next, as @Mike_da_Spike noted, ensure functionallity for each system you mentioned. Any system showing an issue should be presented within its own thread with copies of your pinballx.ini and log.txt files attached from when the issue arose for that system.

As presented this is confusing for those trying to help you triage the issues noted.

Thank you.
