I’d like to request a feature that allows users to limit wheel animation to only the currently selected table.

As someone recovering from a stroke, I’ve become more sensitive to visual stimuli. When all five wheels animate simultaneously, it becomes overwhelming and distracting for me. If only the wheel of the active table were animated, it would significantly reduce visual load while still preserving the dynamic feel of the game.

I truly hope this can be considered. It would make a big difference for me, and possibly for others with similar sensitivities.

I will try and look at it buddy.

There's a bunch of Tutorial Videos on youtube (https://www.youtube.com/@kongedam/videos).

Rather than downloading them and placing them in Media\Tutorial Videos, to save drive space could there be a way to open a link directly in PinballX? (e.g. have a .url file in the media folder instead of the .mp4 and then stream it).

If possible then the option could be useful for Promo Videos too (as they can also be quite large)

Streaming from a URL is not a problem but YouTube is problematical unfortunately.

Sounds like you need a NAS and a symbolic link...

Have you tried creating a shortcut file with the URL in the Target field?

nice thought, but that won't work.

Add External Links as a feature request?

Damn, that's unfortunate. Would have been handy just to paste a YT link into a text file or something. Oh well, thanks for considering it.

That is a more fitting way,..

Can you do that, or would that be download the full file and then play it rather than streaming (my knowledge of FTP is probably lacking and/or outdated)?. Great if streaming from the FTP could be a future pbx option!

Just upload them to the appropriate folders i guess, no? We will have to leave the jpg preview at this point unless you wanted to use them in dbm.

I do see some new ones were uploaded last year.

If someone else wants to do it it would obviously be appreciated by all.

I think I started last yeR, but all needed to be renamed etc.

But my docker container with pinchflat still runs and monitor all the above YT channels. I will try to upload them all

its done. just building 6.94.

Gameplay, promo and tutorial videos support internet shortcuts (.url). Works fine here.

That was quick!, thanks Tom.

Gave it a quick go and it worked for me with a test .url file and a FTP tutorial. Awesome!! 👍🏻

FX3 change name to FX Classic.
If you don´t change anything in PinballX.ini the game is launch, but It remains open when you leave a table, leaving the backglass active and the game running in the background.
If you change the executable to monitorice in PinballX.ini from Pinball FX3.exe to Pinball FX Classic.exe, the game is launch, but black screen in playfield and need ALT+TAB to focus game. The game It closes properly when leaving the table.
I assume Tom has already seen it, and we'll have an update when he can.

Some may not change to "Classic" so may need to have an additional integrated support addition for the Steam version, same as the previous Pinball FX interactions.

I talk about Steam Versión (integrated in Pinball X Systems).
"Other versions" (pirate) are custom system and don`t have changes.
With oficial Steam Game you don´t have option, the game change with the update.

Sorry, im not sure i understand, other than to say there is custom command line etc. there should be no restrictions in PinballX if you want to fly the jolly roger!

He's referring to the PinballX integrated Steam Pinball FX entries.
