  1. I think they are awesome...tho my point of view is rather tainted.
  2. Oh gee's being addicted to just one of his app's is bad enough...let alone starting on a new one.
  3. Well I was an Apple boy back in the day...the Amiga was the only PC that was really of interest to me as a PC...IBM's where only interesting for games...every thing else...blah.
  4. Hmm well you got me there...Directory Opus requires a bit more than a single click. Tho the screenshots attached are a little wrong in that I should have used byte comparison rather than date & size. *Images removed to save forum bandwidth*
  5. Directory Opus is\was an Amiga File Manager.
  6. Yeah that needs a good scrub down as well...but lets not get Brian scared off this project to quickly. Brian - Heh thats good as there was a lot of them, and they where incredibly annoying.
  7. Yeah once its done I'll stick it up above...tho doesn't seem to be a lot of interest in it...but was kind of expected...its a pricy File Manager...even tho it does simplify things a lot for the end user once they get use to it.
  8. Okay found the other link I was thinking of. [Linky] Which seems to be more or less the same list as posted prior.
  9. A lot of File Managers tend to have these features even in the free ones. SyncBack in all likely hood has a more full feature set than compared to Directory Opus...but for the common user DO probably has more than most would ever use. I'm actually surprised few in this community actually use more advanced File Managers. General File Manager review. [Linky] Anyways here is a decent list of free tools...some of which are File Managers that are more advanced that Explorer. [Linky] Another link with some actual reasoning rather than just bulk posting of links. [Linky] Another link with some other stuff. [Linky]
  10. Well for ePSXe you may want to check out info in this thread...I think there is another one some where else...but drawing a blank right now.
  11. wOOt! Spring Cleaning....errr Fall Cleaning. I welcome the removal of my useless posts.
  12. Maybe try setting the language to French may help some. WinKawaks.ini [Misc] ; Name of the language pack (no .lng extension) LanguagePack=French
  13. hmm I don't see why you would need to give up mod rights...unless you are feeling that you'll become a moody prick like me. Anyways don't go straying to far from here, we all enjoy your input.
  14. Okay i've made a bit of time to create a toolbar for DO, that should aid in speeding up your emulation affairs. Basic features: Mount\Unmount Alochol & Daemon Tools Launch Command\Bash\PowerShell\4NT consoles one at a time or all at once. Send ASCII based files to Notepad\SciTe\PSPad\UltraEdit\WinMerge Launch ClrMamePro\RomCenter\Au3Info\AutoIt Help\AutoHotKey Help\HyperSnap\HyperCam\Xpadder Send Folders to TorrentZip Launch different aspects of GameEx: GameEx\Config\Wizard\Manager\Log\Theme Not a lot of features as of yet...but hopefully it'll be helpful for the time being. Simply extract "DO Icons" to your Program Files folder & customize DO's toolbars by importing the "Emulation.dop" file contained with in the "DO Icons" folder. The "Emulation.dop" file is ASCII..XML based really so its easy for anyone to edit to their own needs...tho if you add anything interesting or helpful be sure to share the wealth. I've attached a preconfigured build of "Console" its a freeware open source container for different console shells. The Bash build this was built with in mind was the one supplied by Cygwin...don't really expect many to use it...but hey it up's you geek factor. PowerShell is of course available from MS as its their new replacement for Command. 4NT...well that one will cost you...its more powerful than Command...but now that PowerShell is out...hard to say how they stack up against one another...still most of these are well beyond the common man. *Note* Directory Opus isn't free...matter fact its probably the most expensive File Manager out there....once this is done I may look into porting this to other FM's where possible.
  15. Well looking at what you listed form Rom pathing...its my best guess that only CPS2 games will play. Give me a bit I'm having to rebuild GameEx because of a silly cock-up I did the other day.
  16. Have you set WinKawaks to use your native directories? Remember the Emulator must work out side of GameEx prior to trying to get it to work with GameEx. Never jump steps as it only makes things more difficult to trouble shoot. Here is a WinKawaks.ini to be saved where you have the emulator: ; Configuration file for WinKawaks 1.57 ; Dec 21 2006:16:53:50 ; ------------------------------------- [VideoSettings] ; If you want to use 640x480 in full screen with Capcom games, make sure to set FullScreenCorrectRatio=1 ; This is the resolution for non rotated Capcom games HorizontalFullScreenWidth=640 HorizontalFullScreenHeight=480 ; This is the resolution for rotated Capcom games VerticalFullScreenWidth=640 VerticalFullScreenHeight=480 ; This is the resolution for NeoGeo games FullScreenWidthNeoGeo=640 FullScreenHeightNeoGeo=480 ; Zoom window ; 100: Zoom 100% (default) ; 150: Zoom 150% ; 200: Zoom 200% ; 250: Zoom 250% ; 300: Zoom 300% ZoomWindow=100 ; Windowed mode ratio correction ; 0: no ratio correction ; 1: correct windowed ratio, smaller display (works good for all blitters) ; 2: correct windowed ratio, bigger display (works good for non scanlined blitters) WindowCorrectRatio=0 ; Full screen mode ratio correction ; 0: no ratio correction ; 1: correct full screen ratio, smaller display (works good for all blitters. 17. You didn't set the Emu to be fullscreen which is required...and you didn't add your directorys to the CP3 INI...here is a corrected one for your system. ;Configuration file for the Capcom System 3 emulator ;All text to the right of; is ignored (use as comments) ;Add your rom directories here (max 10) ;ROMS subdirectory in the same folder than the exe is always scanned when searching for roms ;(remove the; form Dir1) [RomDirs] Dir1=D:\Games\Arcade\CPS3 [Renderer] ForceSync=0;Force directx to lock to vsync refresh SoftwareVertexProcessing=1 ForceManaged=0;Forces the DX driver to use Managed textures instead of Dynamic. 18. The PSD file is junk more or less...the PNG file is for use in your chosen theme so that you have an actual Icon for the system...not needed really just fluff.
  19. It should work...tho if your running Vista you will need to give the executable Admin rights.
  20. You need to extract the Zip file into your Emulators folder...there should be a ReadMe.txt that explains everything else...I think...been a while since I toyed with this.
  21. Search is your friend.
  22. You don't make very good use of Search. Command=emulator.exe [Rom]
  23. No clue on Model 1, but there is some work being done on Model 3 with in Mame...which isn't playable as of yet.
  24. I didn't realize it was all that hush around here. Best guess right now is that Tom is taking some time off...next according to that poll we had a bit ago...it would seem we'll be getting the new search feature...well at least thats what has priority by the votes given. That said we still have a lot of things going on with in the forum...Stu & LB11 are making great progress on the db's...HK has been making a great showing with his new CP application. It can't always be fireworks...but its far from silent as well.
  25. In CCCP running the FFDShow Video Decoder Configuration, clicking on the left treeview item for "Output" there is a check box in the corresponding dialog to "Flip Video"
