  1. Very smart, thanks for sharing!
  2. https://hothardware.com/news/pre-order-arcade-1ups--sized-retro-arcade-game-cabinets The skeptic in me says these are too good to be true OR won't be around long. Hopefully, I'm wrong and along with decent quality, everything is on the up and up.
  3. I saw these originally in a post by nespcbuild but the above is a more recent video. Pretty cool! I'm sure they can't be super solid but people will take these and run with the mods I suspect!
  4. NIce! So it's actually a type of "ready to assemble" product like IKEA that you have re-purposed for your design?
  5. Yes, it would! I would love to "insider" information as to how you build the stands for these incredible looking machines. You most certainly have established a niche on pincab originality!
  6. Impressive, most impressive!
  7. Perhaps give this a try. https://www.gameex.info/forums/topic/19863-resolved-neogeo-game-names-not-displaying/?do=findComment&comment=174025

    Respect

Then again perhaps it's just thick
  9. Seeing how the World's Fair ties in with my arcade memories I've allocated an area for it in my room. During my search for collectables I didn't already have I ran across this Pez dispenser that sold for 32K.
  10. until

  11. Yeah, I panicked a bit until I saw that the 360 wireless adapters are listed as fully compatible. Seems sort of crazy the One controller isn't, there has to be a huge user base.
  12. Good deal. Thanks for letting us know.
  13. https://www.reddit.com/r/Steam/comments/5mt4jf/steam_link_and_xbox_wireless_adapter_does_it_work/ Might be worth a try

  15. I have to say I'm beyond satisfied with what B2K24 has provided and this is most definitely one of those instances where my pursuit of perfection ends, well at least until I run into a game that just looks horrible on my setup.
  16. It's worth noting that the assets available are so due to contributions by others for the overall betterment of the community. You could fill some of the voids if you're so inclined.
  17. They are essentially the same in how it works. You can but If you are not a member of Emu Movies you are limited by the same daily data cap. Tom has provided the system packs for those without an extensive library, in the case of console emulation you are going to be better off with an Emumovies account and the auto downloader. Configure GameEx, launch it and just let it do its thing for a while. Trust me, it's a lot easier. http://www.gameex.info/wiki/index.php/GameEx:Automatic_Artwork_Download_(Setup_Wizard)
  18. Interesting, I don't recall that one! Easily one of the best looking of the glassware items that I recall (IMO of course). This is what I found on Pinterest: The Strohaus had some cool glassware, but I don't recall it being sold. I was drinking soda back in those days anyhow so.... They had plenty other stuff though including pins that I managed to lose when I was in my thirties. It was one happening place, people singing, dancing (on the tables even) and traditionally dressed german bar waitresses bringing out the beers as fast as they could pour them. It was quite the spectacle, especially so at age 16.
  19. My screen is blank except for one small area in the center of the screen. "What is your resolution set to?" I didn't set a resolution, what does that have to do with it anyway? "No I mean your screen resolution, you know how many pixels!" I already told you I didn't set a resolution and I don't see what in the world pickles have to do with it, this is a computer problem I'm calling you about. Your tech support sucks! "WTF"
  20. I may have posted this already at some point in the past. https://paleofuture.gizmodo.com/i-wouldnt-be-here-without-the-1982-worlds-fair-1561934375 Funny to think back about it now but the touchscreen and cell phone are among other things that debuted at the fair.
  21. I've posted about the arcades at the fair several times here but I ran across this site that has a nicely put together summary of it all. https://www.retroist.com/2018/07/15/arcade-games-1982-knoxville-worlds-fair/ I had so many of those tokens back in the day, and not once did it occur to me to keep some for memorabilia.
  22. Nice work, as usual, thanks for sharing!
