  1. Yeah, I find the second reading an example of one of the most ridiculous and absurd behaviour a human can have. These avid bastards are trying to spill money from the veins of humble and normal people.
  2. Yes yes yes yes yes! Perfect example Adultery!
  3. It appears that Atari is leading a ferocious crusade against emulators, fansites, and homebrew content in name of his "name" (what a pun!). Just two examples: First reading Second reading This last one is very funny (if I can say so) because Atari attacked an hobbist who studies REAL asteroids: but, according to Atari's lawyer, he can't even say asteroids because that word belongs only to Atari! Boh....
  4. Downloaded and overwritten. Thanks!
  5. Draco, I perfectly understand your point of view, and would agree if all pdfs were plain text only. But please think about some documents plenty of colourful images, or even some adverts that may happen to be in pdf format. In these cases you would have at least the option to have an "overall view" over the page (like jpegs), and then return to the zoomed view, as and when you want. I think this could be a very useful option that, just because it's an option, you can use it or just leave it alone, according to your preferences.
  6. I encourage him to do so... EDIT: Thanks headkaze for letting us know that at least this is possible!
  7. At least this doesn't work for me. I can have only scrolling view. Pay attention that, as hansolo pointed out, the problem here isn't fullscreen. All of us read pdf in fullscreen with GameEx. The OP was wandering if you can have the entire page displayed at once (the 'fit to screen' desired option), instead of scrolling it down. Until now I was able to get only the 'scrolling view'. A limitation in GS, I guess.
  8. You'll love this software more and more!!! You have more than the Gamebase feature to discover! I'm sorry but I'm afraid that that doesn't make any difference. Cheers, Alpha.
  9. Another masterpiece from your creative skills! My compliments Draco! This will be my new theme for a while now!!!
  10. As far as I know, it's not possible at the moment. GameEx uses Ghost Script library which is required for the PDF feature to work. Since Ghost Script takes control over the visualization of the file, there is nothing you can do in GameEx. Actually I searched in the Ghost Script forums and documentation for full screen related questions, but found nothing of interest. I would be more than happy having the possibility of choosing the view (for me the best would be "display two pages at a time"), but at the moment I think it's not possible. EDIT: Oh, and it was your first post! Welcome to the forum!!!
  11. I agree with you... things will be more well organized this way!
  12. Thank you Brian! I'll do my best!
  13. Very quick as always, thanks Tom!
  14. Thanks Tom!
  15. Thank you guys! And in particular thank you Draco for your kind words! What I did, I did it with pleasure because this forum is full of kind and lovely people like you Draco, and obviously Adultery and fReq too, without forgetting all the other users: it's very unusual these days to find in the internet such a beautiful place to stay and communicate each other. And if I add that here we speak about the most beautiful frontend I've ever seen (and I've seen a lot of them)... well, you can make the sum and get the result! So... thank you again, and let our helping mission continue!!!!! Cheers, Alpha.
  16. I just sent you an email and try to tell how much I appreciated your generosity. Tom, your soul and your mind are valued and prominent, not me. Men, this is the most [RESOLVED] topic ever!!!!!! Don't you think?
  17. Thank you HK! This is a great news! By the way, there is a particular method to update, or we just need to overwrite?
  18. OK, Brian! Already written to Tom.
  19. Are the terms of licence changed, as far as you know? I purchased a 1 year licence in January 2001, so I think it will expire only in January 2012. But with 12.06 and 12.07, as soon as I'm connected to internet and run GameEx it turns to unregistered. So I have to: 1. Disconnect the internet. 2. Remove those Wow6432Node from the registry. 3. Reboot my PC (WinXP SP3) 4. Re-add my registration key This works and GameEx accepts the key, and this goes well until I reconnect to internet again. As soon as I'm connected, I launch GameEx and this first time the program is registered. But evidently during this first launch online it downloads or changes something, and from this point GameEx results as unregistered. I have to perform the aforementioned procedure (reboot included) to temporary unlock it. But no way, as soon as online the program turns unregistered. Since my reg key should last until next January, I can guess that something is wrong here. Isn't 1 year the shortest period available? Why this happens only after 8-9 months? I want to buy a lifetime licence next year, I decided so after a couple of days I used the full version. It's worth the money, absolutely. But now I would first understand what happened. Do you have any advice, please? Thanks in advance Alpha.
  20. Another +10 for you, Tom!
  21. No, I have "Play 1 time(s)" and in consequence "Repeat forever" is not selected. EDIT: I think (guess) those settings take action once the video has started... In this case the video doesn't start and remains in "Opening..." state.
  22. Sincerely, thank you fReq! Please, let me know your results. All you guys are fantastic! I try, and will try, to help other people too, but my knowledge goes not too far... mostly with emulator systems I don't know...
  23. No way, same result. MPCHC loads in full screen, I can read "Opening..." in its status bar, and then something too fast to be read, then "Opening..." again. It seems that MPCHC goes in loop... I solved this with another player, as you can read in my previous post, but I am at your disposal if you want to troubleshoot this problem. Just ask me... P.S.: As I stated before, there is this bug making the first loaded video reopen a second time.
  24. OK, listen to me please. Do you remember the old Windows Media Player that came with Win98? I found out that in C:\Program Files\Windows Media Player there is a mplayer2.exe which is the old, old Windows Media Player! I'm running WinXP SP3 with WMP 11: evidently Microsoft kept it in the newer versions, and this is good! In fact I managed to launch videos using this old version. The command line I used is: CMD="C:\Programmi\Windows Media Player\mplayer2.exe" /fullscreen /play /close Hey guys, now I'm very happy! Firstly because GameEx doesn't crash closing and opening various videos (do you remember the old bug, don't you?). But I have to report a bug in GameEx managing external player, I fear. This bug has happened to me both with Media Player Classic Home Cinema and Windows Media Player (old version), regardless of the fact that MPCHC was unable to play the video file in GameEx. Follow me please, I hope my explanation is clear: 1. I launch GameEx. 2. I launch my first video. 3. I close the first video, no matter if I use the universal exit key combination or the internal exit command of the player. 4. The player closes but then reopens with the same video. 5. I close it a second time, and then GameEx reappears normally. 6. From this point, all is normal and I haven't to close the second, third... etc videos a second time, all is regular. This seems to be a bug in the GameEx code to me. I hope Tom reads this post and take care of this little bug. But, after all... I'm happy! Finally I can play videos in GameEx!!!!!!!
  25. Evidently I have no luck with videos.... The aforementioned command line launches the player, but it keeps loading the fine and never ends. Probably GameEx and Media Player Classic Home Cinema aren't friends, since that command line works in Windows.... Maybe can I try with WMP? Do you know if it supports command line? Anyway, thanks as always fReq and Draco!
