Iam not understanding. What is crashing? MAME or Gameex? I do understand .you are enter and exitng the game and on the second entry it crashes.. Just what exactly.. Log files and versions of both Gameex and Mame would be appreciated.

Just a lil off topic. They share servers, thats why when one is down the other one is too.

I like it , pretty clean. Reminds my of XMBC stuff. Gameex proabbly can get prety close, lists are primarly text than graphic driven, but it does pull screen grabson menus and with somecreative graphix and backrounds you can get most of what you want working. Personally I know much work has gone into the theme creator. While I have not looked into for a while it may be possable to do more. Currently there is a theme contest going and I believe have generated a few new themes.

You save the settings as *.HID files. From my understanding you can load these settings on the fly via commandline. I have the UHID but have not tried this feature yet. I would assume that it would be straight forward Executable.exe Config.hid

U-HID from Ultimarc all the way! I just bought two, for mine and a friends arcade. They are super sweet (get the wireharness)! It is completly programmable and any input can be a Keyboard,gamepad, analog or mouse device. You can upload configs to it on the fly via command line and it stores your main config in flash rom. That is quite an interesting error, it indicates a memory issue. If I were you, I would remove a stick of ram from your machine, then try again. If it does it again, then swap and remove the other ram module. Perhaps you have some bad memory.

You are correct we do not condone software piracy on the forum, do not post links to software and are not a warez forum. I will second what Draco says, if you are warned deal with it, no big deal. Move on. If a user insists on arguing semantics, understand this is not a democracy, we try to be fair but understand this is not your board and we are only looking after Tom's best interests. There is no "right" way to set these up. These are essentially PC games being called by a loader to hook the inputs and bypass some security points. The loader is the same for each game. The games executable is named the same. One can easilty AHK script compile to EXE that runs the loader and game, while calling Irotate etc (one for each game), You can shortcuts and am using LNK as the romextension as Adultry mentioned.

Colin, Thanks for getting that info over to me. I have forwarded it to Tom as he is the one that generates all the keys and should be able to tell as long as it was not edited. I aplogize I did not get back to you sooner but I have been flying across the country on business and this is a hobby and I just didn't have the oppertunity. I would also like to take a moment and tell you the version you are using probably will not expire tommorow and until we know for sure I would refrain from updates. Additionally I hope you will find a home here at Gameex like many of us have, we are an open community and Tom is always updaing his software and providing new features and user support. If you see the value in that and can contribute 25 bucks for your own individual (non shared) key, then please by all means get your own. There was a point in time where some keys were shared and Gameex almost ceased to exist, the developer(s) and forum members alike put alot of love into this product and its one of the best out there (probably the reason it was on the cab you got). Gameex does also have a FREE version that is missing a few features but also availble for the people on the fence about purchasing it, I used it for a while even. If you want an honest responce, we feel it is a slap in the face when someone gives away our product. Gameex has never made anyone rich, we are not microsoft. It does hurt when someone is profiting off the software becuase the develpoers never see a dime.

Well, I bought an xbox just for this game as I played it and was instantly brought back. I feel like I used to when playing againset friends and they re-did the levels with so much love. The characters I have played and downloaded, like Skarlet do seem over powered but they are always balancing the game so perhaps a fix is on the way. In terms of the characters, I like the idea of Freddy, sure its a movie character and not some made up new mk character. I think its fun and brings me cak to the Mk vs street figher or who would win in a fight this guy versus that guy.. Hell they even made a freddy vs jason move. Considering Freddys bloodlust and mks bloodlust.. I think it fits and is much more interesting than just another ninja.

Lol, just good timing. I dont think any spammers have got this much attention from as many staff in a long time.

I love the new MK, much more than I ever thought I could. Then to top it all off I got to meet Ed Boon the creator and programmer of MK, he even signed my copy of it and I got a pic to prove it. This was at California extreme next to my friend Bills homemade MK9 cab. Sweetness!
