  1. If you fan died the processor will burn and you will have a dead pc. Can you install an app that checks tempature? or RPM of fan rotation. I know you dont think you have a virus but did you check anyways?
  2. I'am assuming the program that runs the video is still running in backround. When you go back to gameex it is not ending the process and a new video is loaded.. I the BEEP is probably a dialog asking you weather you want to quit the viedo or not.. Show desktop isnt enabled so you cannot see the dialog. Are you using a 3rd party progam to watch videos?
  3. When you press the DEL key on the keyboard it deletes the rom from the list but does not actually remove the rom. I believe it goes in the filter list
  4. ***EDITED*** SORTED OUT
  5. You can try setting it up as an emu.. mplayer.exe "[rompath]/[romfile]" Romfilter will be *.avi or whatever As far as the delete goes that will require a little more logic. Maybe setup another emu Call it video maintence Point to the same folders and have the command line be del "[rompath]/[romfile]" This method isnt automatic but might be better as u might decide you dont want to delete an episode after you watched it. Just a thought
  6. Have you tried lowering your resolution....just for kicks?
  7. Do you have any antivirus running in backround....Or have you checked your system for spyware and or virus? I have seen systems behave very strangley when infected with malware stuff. And they mysterously work fine (or better)when disconnected from the network.. You system specs look pretty good.. The processor speed is fine but you would get better performance with a pentuim or a processor that has a L2 cache. But I do not think that is the issue here. Download tuneup utilities it has a wonderfull reg program..I recommend Trend Micro for AV and They have a free trial that actuall get rid of viruses insted of saying your infected but shell out $$$ before it will fix them..
  8. What resolution are you running it at ....Is it wide screen?
  9. Tom...I just re-donated...The beers are on me... Thanks for all your hard work.
  10. Have you pressed the + and - keys on the keyboard? during the game of course.
  11. Thanks...
  12. Awesome Just a thought though.. I would use l1,l2,r1,r2 +start+select to exit.. this makes it more on purpose. In mame I use select as coin and start as p1 start and If your quick enough you can exit your game on accident
  13. Press tab.. I believe its in other controls..Look for UI cancel... that will do what you need
  14. Weird... I sent you a pm. maybe we can get this going
  15. Launch gameex advance config,Goto emulator,There is a advance config with a dropdown. Pick a config and choose edit.
  16. Run DL2 after it goes back to gameex close gameex and navigate to the start menu where gameex is and run last game bat...What happens?
  17. I'am fortuante enough to have two cabs so I'll see how it goes. Ive toyed with flat menus but as you say there are alot of features...Always a good thing But I donot use them all. I think Ive even tried that frontend.. but after finding yours I ve stopped looking all together
  18. does the game use a launcher? I believe the new version of daphne supports these discs and rips the video from them and uses it to play the game.. Id be tempted to try that.. As emulation would probably be more accurate
  19. are you using daphne? do u have showdesktop enabled? Opps it seems tom beat me to it
  20. Cant wait to try it on my cab! Thanks Tom You never cease to amaze me
  21. Awesome Glad to help
  22. I'll give it a shot.. Thanks I'am still a newbie at this
  23. No big deal... I think we're stuck. Im just happy I got it compiled successfully Again Thanks Very Much
