simbamame

i have different music that goes with the table ( for example knight rider players the night rider theme ) which continues to play if go to the menu and chances when i scroll to the next table so i guess so. TBH would it be a bit messy having ambient sound and table sound together ?

just tried funhouse on my system no problems loads within a second but im using a Ryzen 7 with an SSD M2 , so maybe rig specs need upgrading.

@wrd1972 mine does it with out any hacks. Says title of table while playing music from the table.

@Mike_da_Spike i dont use steam, never have and it works fine using the EXE. and its all working now :-)

I Dont know how or why but for some reason my fx3.exe had renamed itself ??? from pinballFX3.exe to pbfx3.exe...... weather in a drunken state or lack of sleep id unwillingly altered it, who know but a least its working now , thanks to all.

Just upgraded to latest PBX version and now FX3 doesn't work, there is an error in the log but im not sure what it means. All tables in visual pinball work ok. got fx2 to work the parameters were wrong. but cant get fx3 to run. thanks in advance. log.txt [SETTINGS].log PinballX.ini

Im trying to get UIltraDMD to work and keep getting the following error any body know what im doing wrong? Don`t know if its relevant but i found if my DMD screen doesn't power up 1st i dont get any DMD showing and need to refresh in order for DMD's to show up, might not be relevant but thought i `d mention it as my DMD screen powers up 1st but im on individual switches so you may not be able to do this with a single all ON button.

tells us nothing is it in PBX menus , what system does it affect ? etc.. i wish people would learn how to ask for help correctly so we can help you.

Same here i have GameEx running along side PinballX in a test rig and never had any conflicts.

Many thanks the -offline did the trick as my pincab wont be linked to the net there is no need for it to be online, and as other said server load is high hense the long wait, with the -offline command the tables load in under 12 seconds !!! RESULT ! but then again im running it from An SSD M2 !! Many thanks for all the help as always much appreciated.

ok so im not really sure if this a PBX issue but lets give it a go...ok so i have FX2 and FX3 installed in my pincab, when i load an FX2 table it loads in like 5 seconds, fx3 on the other hand takes like 2 minutes and 40 seconds..any body else have the same issue or did and if so did you find a work around... just to mention im playing offline and not via steam. Its got so frustrating that ive re XMLed all my old fx2 tables back into the system. AS always any help greatly appreciated. settings included. PinballX.ini log.txt

Files attached... ok so i run a table outside of PBX lets say Attack from mars all works fine, table on screen 1, B2s shows on screen 2 and nice DMD on 3rd monitor. Run from PBX i loose the DMD ive tried EVERYTHING to get it back ive re-download the table, BG , rom etc... ive deleted the B2STableSettings in visualpinball\tables ive set <enabled>True</enabled> in game manager and checked it in the XML all to no avail no mater what i do i cannot get the DMD to show, but if i hit F1 and select show external dmd.dll (i think its called ) i get the DMd but if i try to save this the system crashes and i have to force a sign out of windows to quit of the crash. @halen PBX has a No Topper video built into it depending on what system your in for example in Visual pinball its at \PinballX\Media\Visual Pinball\Default Videos\No Topper

I have a lot of tables in PBX i would like to see an option to search for a table via a name then load it, i know i could add it to FAVORITES but some times its nice to say for example "ill play an *ATTACK* table " PBX would then show all tables beginning with said search. Also i have same tables in different pinball software so would be good too choose. Any Takers ??

can confirm both work with windows 10 64 bit, just need to remember how to intigrate it into PBX !
