Take pinballx out of the startup sequence or use msconfig and remove pinballx from there, then you can choose pinballx or gameex.

hI gUYs.... After a bit of help from PCTECH i have designed a few Future Pinball Dockets ( about 20 or so ) for some table that i couldn't find...Please take a look and see what you think...if they are ok and feel they may be useful please do so... ill grab some more reconstruction tables and do the dockets if people want them and i`ll upload : I've uploaded to the FTP at /-PinballX-/Other Uploads/simbamame

If you download the software from Ultimarc there is a utility that allows you to program the I-Pac so you can have them to what ever you want. TBH the set up you have seems normal. I like TOM have a few buttons for page up/down volume up/down etc...

i only have 1 copy and use the game manager to select the PBFX3 logo for table that i dont want a DMD for example the DOOM, SKYRIM and ELDER SCROoLLS DMD is way to big ( byte size 190+MB each 1) and stuters so i just point to your PXFX3 DMD i have in my DMD Media folder for PBFX3 and they work so i dont need 3 copies.....even tho, I still love the DMD and thank you for designing and sharing :-)

Just a thought...Maybe the free version doesnt have full touch screen support?

Hi Guys Do you know if its possible to run MFME on 2 screens? ie have the reels on 1 monitor and have to playfield / backglass ( is it called where the action happens ) on a 2nd monitor ? so it looks like a reel machine...reason for asking is that im considering alter my set up to look like a conventional machine and it would be awesome if this could be done. Hi Guys, I have a dilemma, i have my virtual cabinet working lovely but i'm missing a few mega docklet icons for Visual and Future pinball, i have tried for several weeks but failed miserably to make any think that's even 10% the quality of the docklets i find that you guys have done......my question or shout for help is if i gave a list of docklets i need for Visual Pinball and Future Pinball would any body be willing to make them for me?...i recon there is about probably 40 or so that i'm missing. I would be eternally gratefully to anybody that could help out. As always many thanks in advance. Ian.

i would advise changing to to FS-UAE as it has a database for each game built in so all the hard work is done for you.

According to the utility you are missing some files, namely 005.zip. This is what the utility checks for to validate a proper mame set and as RedDog said just create 1 in the folder.

Not sure but i did find this : The GameEx Evolution initial alpha stage has ended, so unless you have a copy you saved, you can't really do much currently.

HI Guys. Im sure this has been covered before but cant seem to track it down I have the sega model 2 emulator up and running in GameEx but having problems mapping a few keys , mainly where it has analog joystick for accelerate, brake etc.... i cant remap these to a keyboard key for example forward arrow for speed up, down arrow for break etc, i've looked at the advanced keymap config but there is no option for this. how would i go about assigning these keys for games. I've done the left right up down etc.... but cant alter the ones with a square box next to them Thanks in advance. Ian

OK so after a lot of playing and tinkering, i believe i have sorted this problem, it appears to simply be a themes / change view problem. Why some themes and views screw it up ive no idea.

After finally finishing my new cocktail cabinet i decided it was time to sort Gameex out. so i fired it , worked ok was a bit laggy and found most of my emulators were missing so started about the task of getting them all back it ( obviously running out side of gameex 1st ) then transferring over 1 by one after several days of intense sorting.....i fired up gameex and it said update needed, so after getting stuck in the update loop i decided to download and do an over install as you do...... done Fired up gameex.... OMG ! Now game ex is completely screwed up...see inclosed photos 1st all menu is screwed up (1) and no controls work so i have to alt ctrl delete and see gameex is is not responding (2)..i kill it and then all my desktop is screwed up...missing all icons etc (3)... i have to log off and back on and then do a screen personalise to get it back..please help as i'm completely at a loss where to start, before the update everything worked ok, so if its an update that's caused it i'm screwed?.Just tried again see (4) even worse !!! included config and log below... gameex.ini log.txt

Hi Has anybody done an XML for pinball Fx3. Or am i just being thick and should create 1 in game Manager. @tom...is there any update to game manager ( using the one in latest pbx release ) as mine seems to do strange things, like i have to click fetch images offline then online in order to select from HD directory and sometime click offline then online, also it just goes not responding when trying to load XML databases and i have to close it.

just a thought what happens if you delete 1 of the titles , does the other stay there or does it delete both?.

I think the easiest way to do it would be to create a favorites and add the games to that, especially if you have 1,000s of games would take ages to manually delete each as KRC suggested.,. By having a favorites you could just add the ones you know are going to be played...its how i do it and have like 50 games that are totally 80s...space invades frogger, gorf, defender etc... Side note.... does GameEx support more than 1 favorites setting? or does it have a filter setting?

Holly S**T well i for one would love to see this happen as i originally spent weeks trying to set the amiga emulator up without success i literally had to set up a separate emulator for each game so only had a few....this would be a MAJOR step forward in my opinion and i for 1 would love to see it integrated into GameEX ... i Took Dragos docklets and added vpt,vpx and vp5 to the top by the visual pinball logo what do you all think took much? or worth going for it? I know its very basic but maybe its an idea somebody could improve on....i just think it gives it that bit different feel? Ian.

hi all, does anybody have a docklet template for visual pinball and future pinball, i have some missing so thought about doing a few myself only basic tho ie the docklet with the game name in text inside it maybe a bit of an image. thanks in advance. ian.

Having finally got a lot of table to work i fired up over 300+ tables in the visual pinball menu, ok great, but what happens if i want a table that starts with say an M takes ages to scroll threw the wheel any chance of putting a skip letter like in gameEx or maybe like me i have double flipper buttons so have it so in the config the 2nd flipper button skips letters ??? [edit] sorry for my ignorance didnt realise page up meant skip letter lol. all good now.
