No not manually for 200+ tables ... you alter 1 path to point to where the tables are now located in the VP set up section in PBX.

Odd that, im Using FX2 and FX3 and only entered the cabinet support code once and its never asked again. Maybe you could post a comment over at Zen Studios and see if anyone there has had this issue. Sorry cant help any more.

So when you have downloaded all your videos just add the path in mame ( video snap path ) and it will show videos instead of static pictures... the beauty is if you miss a video it will still use the static picture.

Also easy way to check just click this icon will open the place where artwork is stored to check all paths are set correctly. There has been times ive missed a letter or a space or summit simple and artwork didnt show. This is an easy way to check.

Ensure artwork names match the game names exactly would be my 1st try, and check paths in the setup wizard / set up mame..if you click I think it's the 3rd icon across where you enter the paths it will open the folder so you can make sure it's pointing to the correct location

For me I had to setup and use Rocket Launcher to launch my PC Games from Pinball X. Did the same thing for running MAME via Pinball X that way I could also use the bezels that people ( like me who use Rocket Launcher) like to make. You then configure Rocket Launcher to use Pinball X as its default Frontend. It saw all my systems from Pinball X including my PC system. All I then had to do was setup the PC "emulator" in Rocket Launcher, which is PCLauncher, and I set it up as a virtual emulator. Job Done. check this out that @TerryRed did

Just downgraded to earlier version and its ok now. weird.

solved....It seems i was missing the catver.ini added this and now the long descriptions work after an list update. Thanks to all that helped. :-)

you do know that game ex has a setting to do this for you.

looks like mine is outa date as asteriods give only the 3 liner. im gonna delete my mameinfo and do an update.

and where do i use this mike ? as ive never come across a .db3 file before. I have 1,Mine is only 51k do you think i should delete my mameinfo.dat and do an update even though the mameinfo just seems to contain mame update information as far as i can tell. i have a listinfo file @ 193 meg !

Thanks guys ill try both and report back @Draco1962 dont think i have even seen or used a .db3 file ? but ill look into in. Hmm just checked i dont have a db3 file and the mameinfo.dat file just contains the mame changes not file descriptions? so i guess i need a .db3 file how do i go about creating one, ive never used one before.

Thanks @RedDog Indeed i had changed my theme didnt even consider that.... im using the AMBIENT OCCLUSION theme, but even if i change the theme i still only get the small info. Ive done the Enable/Disable Features, check Show Game Information, and haven't changed the paths to the MAMEInfo.dat file locations in the MAME Settings Did you forget to pay my semi-annual-under-the-table-happy-gamer tithe? Hi Guys, A while ago i was playing around with my mame/gameex version and im sure before when i used to be scrolling threw the mame games i used to get a box pop up for each game giving a short description of the game all i get now is a box with the game name under that system and date and then a stars rating from 1 to 10. what have a inadvertently alter to get this? Ian.
