  1. Works perfectly Tom! Thank you very much!
  2. Since updating to version 14.70 (also in 14.75) my start menu when starting up GameEx appears as the attached picture with just a blue screen. Previously, the MAME list would be shown, and video thumbs would be running, etc. To access MAME game lists you have to click on MAME 2 times. Everything still works fine, but I would prefer things to appear as they previously did. I have also attached my log and ini files, any help would be appreciated. thanks! log.txt GameEx.ini
  3. Hi Tom, This should also be marked "RESOLVED" All menus are working perfectly with GameEx version 14.49 Thanks again for fixing this issue!
  4. Hi Tom, This issue should be marked "RESOLVED" SSF works perfectly again with version 14.49 Thank you very much for fixing this!
  5. Thank you Tom!
  6. Hi Tom, The only 2 "views" that work with the MAME and Emulators game lists menus with version 14.48 are attached below. This was not an issue with version 14.32
  7. Hello Draco, "MAME" and "Emulated Games" both do not work. When you select something from one of these lists, it just goes back to the list. Most Played, Last Played, Favorites, Multimedia, More Programs, GameEx News and Exit/Shutdown all seem to work fine. Please note that I have not made any changes at all except updating from GameEx Version 14.32 to 14.48
  8. This is exactly the same issue I am also having with Menus
  9. There is a "Sega Saturn Region Patcher" program available that changes regions for Saturn games. You can set your BIOS to one region, and change all your games to match. I believe some games do need the bios to function properly.
  10. Hello Draco, thanks for helping! I ran this file and the "command box" opened up. I closed the box, and then ran GamEx and the menus are still not working
  11. Hello, There is no "DeleteAllViews.exe (or anything similar) in my GameEx root folder, or anywhere on computer. Could it be named something else? Thanks!
  12. Hi Tom, I can confirm the attached Gameex.exe works perfectly with SSF and version 14.48! Thank you very much for resolving this issue!
  13. Hi Tom, I'm using the default theme animated. All of the "main headers" work, its when you select the actual emulator and it tries to go to the game list, it just goes back to the emulator selection list. I could only find 2 "views" that allowed game selection. One had a large Hexagon in the center, the other one just has a large MAME logo Thanks for your help Tom!
  14. Hi Tom, I am still having menu issues. If I "change view" to certain views, the menus work. All the menus that look good (in my opinion), still do not work. I can go to each "main page" listing, but when I scroll down to select a certain emulator, it just goes back to the emulator selection screen again. I am using a tri/sync arcade monitor with and Arcardevga 3000 graphics card and Windows 7 64 bit. My max resolution is 800 x 600 and I have never had menu issues with any version of GameEx before 14.48. Thanks!
  15. Hi Tom, Thanks again for your efforts trying to fix this problem! I can confirm that when using the old GameEx.exe (executable) from version 14.32 with the newest version 14.48 of GameEx that SSF works perfectly. Log and Gameex.ini files are attached for your reference. log.txt GameEx.ini
  16. I am having the same exact problem after updating from version 14.32 to 14.48 Log and Gameex.ini are attached. log.txt GameEx.ini
  17. Hi Tom, I've been using version 14.32, which works with SSF. When I update to 14.48 (with no other changes at all), none of my emulators work other than MAME. When I select an emulator, its does not display any games, it just goes back to the emulator selection screen. Please note that every emulator works perfectly in 14.32, the only change was updating to 14.48. Log and Gameex.ini are attached Thanks! log.txt GameEx.ini
  18. I use DTools to mount the image, but I don't think this issue has anything to do with virtual drives/mounting. Also, I do not have VCD installed. If you just run the executable (SSF.exe), without any virtual drive/image outside of GameEx, the Saturn Bios splash screen comes up, then you get the console with the "drive empty" message (just like you would on an actual Saturn). If you change the command line in GameEx config of the emulator to just SSF.exe, exactly the same thing happens in versions below 14.32 (Saturn Bios splash, "drive empty" message) - it works fine! When you do this same exact thing with newer versions of GameEx, you can see the SSF.exe window open briefly, then it gets killed right away and returns to GameEx. No virtual drives are involved. Any thoughts? Thanks!
  19. Hi Tom, I just located GameEx version 14.32 on the web, download and installed it. SSF works perfectly with GameEx version 14.32! I cannot find any version more recent. I hope this helps! Thanks!
  20. Hi Tom, I just located GameEx 14.09 on the web, downloaded and installed it, and SSF runs fine with GameEx 14.09 I'm still searching for a more recent version. Thanks!
  21. Hi Tom, Are you using Windows 7 64? SSF works perfectly outside of GameEx for me. Based on the recent posts regarding SSF, I would assume that whatever the charge was, it must have been fairly recent. Thanks again for all of your help!
  22. Hi Tom, i listed the version above, 13.08 I only update every year or so, I don't have any versions in between Thanks!
  23. Hi Tom, I've tested SSF with 14.40, and still get the same result. If you have any earlier versions available, I would be happy to test each one to try to narrow this problem down. Thanks again for your help!
  24. Hello Tom, I renamed the executable, and still get the same result. SSF gets killed. Thanks!
  25. Hi Tom, The "newest" version of GameEx that I currently have where this problem does not happen is 13.08 I've used SSF for years with GameEx, and have never had this issue with any earlier version Unfortunately, I only update my Cab every year or so. SSF had always worked perfectly with GameEx in the past. I've mentioned previously that I would be happy to test every version one by one going backwards if someone can provide me with them or a location where I can download them from. Thanks again for your help!
