Welcome to the comp! I'm sure Dennis (GimmeClassics) has PM'ed you by now, but just in case - make sure to head over to the Poll Thread at some point to vote for next months added game. You can also use that thread to nominate any games you'd like to see added to our competition. They will all get their chance in the poll eventually *Updated OP, DB, RSS.

Thanks for the confirmation Den!

@GC/Gan - i got the same aswell when i added 1943, but it seemed to have added it. Can you guys confirm your end that 1943 is actually present? Just in case mine is loading the backup. Although it usually tells you when it does.

Provided Origin is working OK, can we see a similar feature for Uplay? I realise how cheeky that request is, but i can't help myself - you just deal with stuff so quick, i got a wave of selfishness heheheh

Hey guys, I made a similar thread a while back, before PinballX was off the ground in the GameEx forum. As you guys are Pinball players it seems a perfect place to try again! So do any of you play PBFX2? If you do, do you fancy some more competition? If so leave your Steam Profile here for add I'll start with mine: http://steamcommunity.com/id/shmupperfromhell Leave your tag/profile anyone who likes a friendly comp

Unfortunately i don't, and will not in the near future have a server setup although i wish i had - would certainly help with music/movies. But i moved my Steam games to a dedicated partition for the same reason - got fed up with having to download ridiculous amounts of GB every time Windows got angry with me (although admittedly i do poke her often ). It works well but i thought maybe that was why the tagger wasn't updating properly

@Adultery - Some people had trouble running Tetris, not sure whether it was a romset issue or MAME itself but GeorgeT first reported it here (with no post-back on why) and Han reported problems here with a separate thread i believe too but can't find it EDIT - this one

It's a bit difficult to see what you mean from the vid, probably coz my connection sucks and it's auto-downgrading it for me. Can you explain a little more what you mean?
-
This. And to keep some continuity i set my windows desktop to hide icons, auto-hide taskbar and have a plain black background. That way all you see is a glimpse of the minimized taskbar which really isn't that noticable.

OK thanks bud! If it helps any, my steam client is in default location but EVERY single game is on a separate dedication partition

Here comes that thorn in your side that is me! I'm experiencing an issue - i've been playing PBFX2 as my tag shows, but the screenie stays as Metal Slug (the last game i played before PBFX2) I've hard-refreshed my browser but the snap and title are both staying as Metal Slug, even on my GT page. Any ideas? Learning from previous mistakes and false alarms i've made sure i'm using the latest which according to the first post is 1.08 and i'm def using that version.

We present to you a bonus game this month: 1943! This is one of the classic shoot 'em ups from a great period in the arcade universe. It's a personal fave of mine from my childhood and in all honesty it is probably the shmup that made me the fan i am today. My cousin, my Dad and my brother and I would pump this machine till it was overflowing back in the day. I hope you guys find it even a tiny a bit as enjoyable as the fond memories i have of it. Good luck! ~Daz PS: i tried it earlier, and yup i suck! lol

That is basically it yes. But you don't have to use the template that comes with the plugin. As long as your design ends up with 625x150 dimensions you are sorted Using GIMP and the concept of layering is a whole other topic however
-
thurmansevolution is spot on. I would also like to add, that if you want the info from the database to show in GameEx, just make sure your shortcuts (.lnk) match the names in the database.

Reading through this topic could be quite confusing for someone just joining in - the plugin evolved rapidly as you can probably tell by reading the first couple of pages. That's the trouble with Adultery - if you set him alight everything goes effin crazy! In this instance there was an inferno so you're probably better off reading backwards through the thread As you know i'm a bit "man down, man down!" at the moment but when i get some energy i'll fish out the good bits for you, and it goes without saying that we'll all lend a hand when you need it. It's a fantastic plugin and one of my faves ever. I'm sure you'll agree once you get to grips with it and what is possible!

[RESOLVED] v13.28 Strange startup behavior with GameEx since new install.
DazzleHP replied to Matrix0507's topic in General
Just reporting in here. Apart from your "News" post i was unaware of any update. It didn't show in the front-end itself and so i haven't updated. Therefor i am fine! It seems the ones having trouble actually downloaded the latest and installed. As stated i always update within GameEx itself but i received no such notification to do so. Something may have gone wobbley? -
Just to let you know, Tempest rarely makes a point unless he is on the money, and usually he is

You'll run Dolphin no problem I have i3 2120 (much older than yours) 4GB RAM and 2GB 7870. Runs PCSX2 and Dolphin with ease Try Dolphin you will be AMAZED! For what it's worth, Dolphin runs much, much better than PCSX2.
