I installed this on a laptop I use for web browsing. Its an intel 500mhz. 196mb ram. Windows Xp. Made it better to surf. Couldn't tell a difference gaming. Didn't run benchmarks.

Read post #398 of this thread. Tom has already addressed this feature request. I and many others wanted something similiar. I think Tom may gone above and beyond our request on this one.

Does Zsnes work outside GameEx?

Not sure how well this works. I was told it would improve performance on emus. I do notice windows is alot faster. It makes changes to the registry. GameXp Download

Does anyone else have this version. I've tested it side by side the 0.25 version and can't tell a difference. It was a leaked version. Only Street Fighter 3 seemed to play a little faster.

It should auto install. Now just go into the plugin manager and configure.

I don't think you can install xp on a hd that has different specs then the machine that it is going in. Wouldn't work for me.

Thanks HK but the issue is leaving the mic muted in the properties window. By default the mic is muted. Applications themsleves seem to unmute the mic when called for. GameEx doesn't. In order for the Mic to work in GameEx I have to leave the Mic unmuted at all times. If Tom can have windows unmute the mic when the karaoke is started then this would be great. I'll have to find a work around for now.

I'm having this exact same issue. How to setup a mic for use with GameEx Karaoke. Are there steps that need to be taken first to insure that the mic is somehow turned on inside GameEx? I'm using an audigy card from creative. I use my mic daily for online gaming. Will not work in GameEx.

I mainly have to use external app for mouse emulation. Plus Its nice to have emu and pc apps seperated. Thanks for the hard work!

From the faq. Q: The Game list won't update, or does not update correctly. For example, I see no categories or years. A: This maybe because you are using an old version of MAME or a derivative build such as MAME Plus. GameEx has only been tested with the newer versions of the official Windows MAME, MAME32 and AdvanceMAME. Get the latest official version of Windows MAME or MAME32. Once the Games list has updated correctly, you can probably swap over to your derivative or older build.

The remote isn't capable of mouse emulation?

Can you just run winamp from external apps and enable mouse emulation? Does this not work with the mce remote? I don't use winamp sorry.

Is it possible to add the "Also Launch", "Launch Before" and "Launch After" fields added to external Applications? Can you also add "Also Launch After" to emus and external applications.
