    Lets get real though. That product is reserve for when we really need it. $4/gal hardly constitutes an emergency. I'll just take the bus. We're a lazy country and we rely way too much on that sh*t as it stands. Shut down over the road transport for a week or we're never gonna see any change.

    The crap thing is that it never goes down as fast as it goes up. Our wholesale price traded down today, but refinery closings will most definitely affect us. I suppose we'll see... it really depends on the volume sitting at the Chicago terminal.

    Are you positive your hand chosen set is made up of parent sets and not clones? IE PacMan's parent ROM is actually Puck Man. Using clones won't work because files will be needed from the parent set.

Here's a list: -reset Reset all user configurable settings to defaults -lite Launch GameEx Lite -login Launch GameEx's Login UI -timer {value} Add the number of seconds to the {value} switch [*]Added new banners courtesy of Draco1962 (launch form banner) and KRC (Help/About banner) Thanks you guys! They look GREAT! [*]Added GameEx Launch Mode Select the way you'd prefer GameEx to launch! Your options are: GameEx Login UI GameEx Lite [*]Added a Quick Launch menu Quickly launch several of GameEx's utilities without having to leave the EXE! Artwork Download Utility Setup Wizard Log File Viewer Plugin Manager Weather Select [*]Prettied it up some OK, a lot! LOL! I also updated the snaps to reflect the changes.     I have the same issue with one of the KoF games. It's a DirectX error in Japanese if it's the same error. You can use ArcadePC Launcher to get around some of these.

    I might do a cosmetic update to this (nothing major, was thinking of using GameEx's logo font for the launching label and maybe adding the GameEx logo or a banner if Drac or KRC will make me one... 450px by 200px PNG would be stellar) and may also add a setting to launch GameEx Lite as an alternative if the user desires, maybe even a link to the Setup Wizard, but other than those small things I think this is as good as it's gonna get. I never finished a project so fast! Lol!

    {DECOMISSIONED} GameExLaunch 1.0.5 What is it? A simple EXE that is made to be launched instead of GameEx.exe on startup for folks that don't use Instant Sheller and still use their dedicated gaming machine as a PC from time to time. This EXE is for registered users because the registry path of GameEx is needed for it to function properly, and GameEx only writes these values when you register. How do I use it? Click on the EXE or set it to launch on startup. WINDOWS 7 USERS: Couldn't be easier to get it going! Simply make a shortcut to GameExLaunch and drop it in the START>Startup folder and the EXE will launch after Windows boots up. You can also specify command-line arguments like so: GameExLaunch.exe -timer 60 -login -Timer {value} Set the value to whatever you'd like for the timer to be in seconds. -Login Launch GameEx in Login Mode. -Lite Launch GameEx in Lite Mode. -Reset Rest all user-defined settings back to their original state. What does it do? The EXE launches GameEx after a user defined number of seconds or if ENTER is pressed, or aborts if CANCEL or ESCAPE are pressed. You can also quickly launch in GameEx Login mode or GameEx Lite, or many of the setup utilities included in GameEx (ie Setup Wizard, Plugin Manager, Log Viewer, Weather Select, and the Artwork Download Utility) and returns you to normal launching procedure afterwards. There is also a pause button if you have an update or your system is slower than normal to load. Wow that's super easy! What if I find a bug? Report it here! Any questions? Ask away. Feel free to offer suggestions on how I can make it better. NOTES: I whipped this up in about an hour, but it does what it needs to as well as I could ask for. GameEx's install location is picked up from the registry so no settings are currently needed (other than the timer, which defaults to 30 seconds). You may need to add this to your antivirus software's "safe" list (Avast always tried to open mine in sandbox mode, damn them!). I think that's about it. CHANGELOG:

    No worries. Nice to see your cab taking front stage. Its a nice rig based on a great game.

    Oh you definitely need more RAM in that! I'm shocked *anything* runs on 512 anymore. That's low even for NESTopia! RAM is cheap nowadays... Max out your mobo! Then worry about the video card. You'll want to do both though for sure. A new comp is hard to justify for a dedicated cabinet, but if you can afford to step up to at least a dual core, you won't be sorry!

    You also need to set your Model2 emu to use Direct3D I think. Been awhile since I set that up. Your MAME version may not be the same as your rom set... something to bear in mind.
