A gamer named torino has been testing a "Live Arcade Scoreboard" for MAME in the thread below. Maybe this could be a very cool feature for GameEx, dont know if it could be programmed "easily" into into GameEx? I know i would personally start using it right away, to compare my scores with fellow gamers around the world, right in my cabinet. What do you guys think? "We can share hi-scores via public web-folder. With the help of HiToText utility simple .BAT script can update local hi-scores with server scoreboard and publish our own records back to server by merging all the current scores automatically. The point of this would simply be so that everyone can see current competition scoreboard right there in the game itself, which kind of makes it more interesting and motivating to break someone else's record. Yeah, you need to have MAME enabled for hi-score support, which includes having a "hiscore.dat" and "hi" folder." The original thread is here: http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=112758.0
