  4. Nothing beats WIndows 8.* with the free ClassicShell, its just like 7 if you so wish. Installs in 3 mins.
  5. Well done both of you guys!
  6. Uodated smoothly, thanks Tom!
  7. One small GameEx nuisance: when screensaver shows an interesting game, i hit the credit button and testplay that game. But after playing the game, I cant seem to exit from the game with my usual 2 button method, I have to get the keyboard out and press Esc to exit. Any tips or is this a bug?
  8. Right. Go for 8 and Classic Shell. Just like i did and boy my cabinet is good now.
  9. Thanks guys!
  10. I really love these old school game cabinets, played em a lot as a kid, lovely memories, but I would not invest my hard earned money in them even if I had millions laying around like the Sharks seem to have. We have designed & constructed CNC´d cabinet kits that are better built than 99.5% of the competition but its been almost dead quiet regarding sales. 11. Its called Shark Tank S04E12
  12. This could help: http://mcm.mameworld.info/ What is MAME Content Manager Plus (MCM Plus) ? It's a simple program that makes it easy to control what types of ROMs you keep on your PC. MCM Plus lets you easily rename or delete all MAME ROMs and games files by category - Adult, Quiz, Mahjong, Puzzle, etc.
  13. On another forum but this is a complete guide to get MAME things rolling: URL deleted
  14. Installed smoothly, thanks again Tom.
  15. Mine used to be like that, now when i click or press a game on the list, it goes directly to the game and no way to add it to the favourites. I cant recall or find where to change this behaviour.
  16. Bump: I have lost the option to add a game to the favourites, how the h should this be done again? Using GameEx 12.60.
  17. Was there supposed to be some Future Pinball improvements in this one? Or in the future?
  18. Mine looked like this at an early stage: More info in the caibinet kit at http://wiki.arcadecontrols.com/wiki/Turun_Puujaloste
  19. I just wish Tom had chosen Xenforo as the forum software
  20. I have the exact same problem and it seems to be quite random, sometimes it happens, sometimes the exit to GameEx menu is instant.
  21. Yeah my cabinet is not noticing any new automatic update either.
  22. Updated and all systems go, thanks Tom!
  23. Ok Tom, lets see this happen ;-)
  24. A gamer named torino has been testing a "Live Arcade Scoreboard" for MAME in the thread below. Maybe this could be a very cool feature for GameEx, dont know if it could be programmed "easily" into into GameEx? I know i would personally start using it right away, to compare my scores with fellow gamers around the world, right in my cabinet. What do you guys think? "We can share hi-scores via public web-folder. With the help of HiToText utility simple .BAT script can update local hi-scores with server scoreboard and publish our own records back to server by merging all the current scores automatically. The point of this would simply be so that everyone can see current competition scoreboard right there in the game itself, which kind of makes it more interesting and motivating to break someone else's record. Yeah, you need to have MAME enabled for hi-score support, which includes having a "hiscore.dat" and "hi" folder." The original thread is here: http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=112758.0
  25. That was it, thanks again fRequEnCy
