  1. Mine used to be like that, now when i click or press a game on the list, it goes directly to the game and no way to add it to the favourites. I cant recall or find where to change this behaviour.
  2. Bump: I have lost the option to add a game to the favourites, how the h should this be done again? Using GameEx 12.60.
  3. Was there supposed to be some Future Pinball improvements in this one? Or in the future?
  4. Mine looked like this at an early stage: More info in the caibinet kit at http://wiki.arcadecontrols.com/wiki/Turun_Puujaloste
  5. I just wish Tom had chosen Xenforo as the forum software
  6. I have the exact same problem and it seems to be quite random, sometimes it happens, sometimes the exit to GameEx menu is instant.
  7. Yeah my cabinet is not noticing any new automatic update either.
  8. Updated and all systems go, thanks Tom!
  9. Ok Tom, lets see this happen ;-)
  10. A gamer named torino has been testing a "Live Arcade Scoreboard" for MAME in the thread below. Maybe this could be a very cool feature for GameEx, dont know if it could be programmed "easily" into into GameEx? I know i would personally start using it right away, to compare my scores with fellow gamers around the world, right in my cabinet. What do you guys think? "We can share hi-scores via public web-folder. With the help of HiToText utility simple .BAT script can update local hi-scores with server scoreboard and publish our own records back to server by merging all the current scores automatically. The point of this would simply be so that everyone can see current competition scoreboard right there in the game itself, which kind of makes it more interesting and motivating to break someone else's record. Yeah, you need to have MAME enabled for hi-score support, which includes having a "hiscore.dat" and "hi" folder." The original thread is here: http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=112758.0
  11. That was it, thanks again fRequEnCy
  12. After updating to 11.80, I cant seem to get rid of the animation on my preferred theme(s) ([*]GameEx and GameEx VI), the backround keeps moving slightly.
  13. Thanks for the printable guide guys
  14. Thanks Tom, this will go in automatically as soon as i start my cab.

  16. http://www.teamviewer.com/ is considered the leader and its free. No need to check out any alternatives, imho.
  17. Yeah, it did not take long for fRequEnCy to figure things out and make em right; big thanks from Finland to you fRequEnCy and all the others too for helping me out in this very friendly & helpful GameEx forum.
  18. Hi fRequEnCy, i just sent you a PM.
  19. Thanks guys for the tips & help. fRequEnCy, remote help would be highly appreciated since command line stuff is beyond my knowledge and i dont have much freetime atm, with a 11 month old babyboy. I guess you are meaning remote access with Teamviewer? Its an awesome proggy. Anytime suits me, my cab has Win7 Ultimate and nothing really but MAME stuff in it. Usually the cab is not connected to the net but i can plug it in anytime. I am located in Finland, so we have a major time difference
  20. Everything is looking just perfect configurationwise, but no cheat-menu shows up when using GameEx. Cheat-menu shows up all ok when i start only the MameUI32 and cheats works as they should. But with GameEx, no. And i use the very same MameUI32 when starting GameEx. I have no other MAME exe´s in my cab either. Very weird.
  21. Here is the log file, i hope it helps. log.txt
  22. Hey Brian, not correct according to this: http://cheat.retrogames.com/
  23. Yes, cheat file works all ok with the MAMEUI32 0.141 that i am using. But when using GameEx, no.
  24. Guys, i am a retard so i would need more precise setp-by-step infos, if possible. I tried going to: Advanced MAME Settings and adding -cheat in the MAME options, but that was not it i guess? I think the cheat file started working all ok without any gimmicks when i was using 0.135.
  25. I set up GameEx 11.51 registered, MameUI32 0.141 in my new PC and cabinet. cheat.zip is in the MAME folder root and works with MameUI32 0.141. But when using GameEx, cheats are not visible/working anymore. Any ideas guys what to do/configure?
