  1. I know when you create a table, you can edit the load screen to a custom background and color. Not sure how to change an already created table.
  2. Ok cool, FRAPS. Heading to their website now. Thanks!
  3. Well I finally finished everything in my cab and I wanted to take a screen capture (AVI video) of the frontend all finished up and email to my brother. The problem is I'm using Adobe Captivate 3 and all the videos I take come out all slotchy and half ass choppy looking. I've used this Adobe program before numerous times and never had a problem. Is there a program that is used to do this better or am I doing something wrong here? Thanks.
  4. Congrats Tempest.
  5. I also have an X-Arcade controller, 2 Player no track ball. With MAME, I have to use the hotrod control configuration or else I run into some control problems myself. Give that a try and see if it works.
  6. Yes, keep them zipped. So your setting up SNES, MESS needs to know where to look for the ROMS, right click the system name and click properties. A new window should come up with a bunch of tabs. These are helpful. Click the software tab and you should see a "Browse" button. Click it, and direct it to wherever your ROMS are for that system. Do this for all the systems you are making MESS run. After you configure everything make sure you hit Apply. Then, back at the MESSUI, right click on the system, and hit Audit. This will show all available ROMS. Hope this helps.
  7. Make sure you have the bios for the systems you are setting up. Then, show MESS the path to them and the roms. Then do an audit on the system(s) that you have set up and you should see your ROMS on the right. I can't tell you where to get the bios, just do a google search and you might get lucky.
  8. Anytime.
  9. Total Carnage maybe? Played almost identical to Smash T.V.
  10. For your rom filter just try *.zip
  11. Those are some wicked sick looking cabs you make.

  12. Dang, you found the problem just like that. Thanks Tom. I made the process wait for No$Zoomer and No$GBA but saved it and renamed it something different, forgot to change it in the Advanced Config. Works like a champ now.
  13. I've been using DeSmuME with no problems and stumbled upon a thread about No$GBA and No$Zoomer. I've read a few different threads on how they work together in GameEx. I decided to try it out. No$GBA and No$Zoomer work just fine outside of GameEx. I used Lawrence's config as a guide and tried configuring it as an emulator. Here's the kick. When I lauch a game it looses focus and No$Zoomer runs but, GameEx takes over and brings me back to the emulator start page. Here is my config [Emulator_17] Enabled=True STARTPAGENAME=Nintendo DS TITLETEXT=Nintendo DS StartPageLogo=DS ROMFilter= RomPath=F:\Emulators\No$GBA 2.6a\Roms RomsInFolders=False SnapPath=F:\Emulators\No$GBA 2.6a\Snaps TitlePath= BoxPath= CartPath= ManualPath= ControlPanelPath= InstructionsPath= WorkingPath=F:\Emulators\No$GBA 2.6a\No$Zoomer2.3.0.1 MapKeys=True WaitBeforeKeys= SendKeys= ReplaceDash=False ReplaceUnder=True Capitals=True RemoveBrackets=True ShowDesktop=True Debug=False MAPFile= AlsoLaunch= Command=NO$Zoomer.exe "[ROMPath]\[RomFile]" LaunchBefore= LaunchAfter= configFile=Nintendo DS ExcludedFiles= CustomBackground= PlayMusic= DontShowInfo= PlaySelectionMusic= SelectionMusicFolder= PCGame=False DATABASE= UseDbName= GamesIn7Zips=True MergeSets=False PlayInScreenSaver=False ShowMostPlayed=True RandomMostPlayed=True CDCheck=False CDCheckFile= CustomArtName1= CustomArtPath1= CustomArtName2= CustomArtPath2= CustomArtName3= CustomArtPath3= [GENERAL] DumbyValue= I think I'm missing something. Thanks for looking.
  14. Whoops, my mistake. Its not a video tab, its the Configuration tab. Sorry. Size to lcd X4 is the full screen.
  15. This looks really helpful, thanks! I'll give it a whirl. I don't have video snaps yet, might have to add that to my "to do" list.
  16. The emulator is Minimon, just like the link that Brian Hoffman posted. The fullscreen is under the video tab. True, it is a tiny little system. I never heard of this thing nor ever played one. Its just one of those neat little deals that would be cool to have in my cab. You know, like the Virtual Boy emulator! HA!
  17. Yeah I tried it to no avail. I noticed that it also wants me to load a BIOS every time I run a ROM.
  18. This is a wicked little emulator and games! I never heard of it before until I did some snoopin around the interweb. Anybody else heard of this or have a configuration for GameEx?
  19. Its gonna sound ghetto but, for the few I didn't have snaps for I just open the emulator or MAME and hit the print screen key. Then open paint, edit-paste. Then just save the snap as PNG and put it in the snap folder. Kind of a long process but works for 3 or 4 games that need a new snap.
  20. VLC is a free program, just do a google search for VLC Player. My config for it is real simple: vlc.exe "[rompath]/[romfile]"
  21. I have a cubic ass ton of MP4's for my PSP. I just configured my VLC player as an emulator through GameEx. Works like a champ plus I like VLC better than WMP, that just me personally. And, I didn't have to reconvert them.

    Kawaks v1.60

I'm a moron. If I would have just tinked with it a few more minutes I would have found out how to fix it. First you click on the Game drop down tab and then click Redifine Keys and configure all your controls. Then, click the Game tab again and select Save key settings as default. Do this for NeoGeo, CPS1 and CPS2. Geez, fail. Sorry guys.

    Kawaks v1.60

Its been so long since I updated WinKawaks and I finally did, to 1.60. However, I don't remember having to configure the controls for every, single, damn, game through the emulator. Its not a big deal really, just didn't have to do that with my older, outdated Kawaks. Anyone else have a similar issue with v1.60?
  24. Hey cool! I really can't wait to try this. Thanks guys! Keep up the good work.
  25. Here is mine. Not quite finished. It was once a Mortal Kombat II that I decided to make MAME. Nothing special.
