on my computer i have more than one version of mame installed, but that has always been the case. Everything has worked fine for weeks, one day this problem arose out of nowhere

Hello, I have an x arcade tankstick that works fine in gameex but when i use it through MAME ( Mame +) The up button on the first joystick will not work. Any ideas? James

So with that in mind i quit with the Advanced mame and went with a standard mame and everything was working great! Any ideas?

Ok i got Mame to run! I did this by turning Advanced mame off. Is there a tutorial out there that will break down advanced mame for me? I think this whole program is way out of my league. In reguards to the post above, i honesetly dont even know how to update advanced mame, i tried just downloading a new version and changing the filepath but then im back to black screen and no load. Also thank you all for your time in helping out someone who should not be messing around with this program. It would really make my year if i got this cabinet up and running smoothly.
